Sound is subpar, but otherwise good

Great display, fast, etc. My only complaint is the sound. This is my second laptop of this model--had to return the first one because the speakers wouldn't even turn on. This second one has sound, however...it feels muted even at full volume. Take it with the grain of salt, though...a friend of mine heard me playing a video and was really impressed with the sound. I asked him what he was listening to...sounds muted to me. I use this mostly for email, writing, and internet research...and it works great for all that.
