Overall this laptop has all the features I wanted and was easy to get set up. One exception, getting the MS Mail application to accept my email accounts was very challenging. It took 3-4 hours and several “workarounds” before I was finally able to get it to work. I think this is a Windows 10 issue, but it did make the set up more frustrating than it should have been.

I went to two separate Best Buy's and Micro Center and tried out around 30 different computers before settling with this one. Build is outstanding, minimal deck flex on the keyboard and a very substantial feeling. The screen is beautiful. Battery lasts long enough to use confidently at a coffee shop without plugging it in. For the price, I think I would struggle to find a better laptop that offers what this one does.

Very nice laptop. Fast, Nice features, large screen - only negative is battery life. I bought a 2nd power cord so i can charge in different rooms. (as a back up plan)

For the college student on the go and has 5 windows open at any given time, the 17.3" screen works well. The sounds is tops with B&O for those Zoom class meetings. When typing and having to switch to mousepad or touch screen to move more efficiently, this is the computer of choice. HP for peace of mind, I7 Core for speed with the complementary RAM, not to mention all the ports. Light weight and excellent battery life!

My history with computers is not a happy one! But I have found this one to be very easy to work with. It boots up very quickly without having to do anything at all. The screen size is delightful and the colors and graphics are amazingly clear. I love the simplicity. When I close the lid, and open it back up not to long after, it comes right back to where I was. I am very happy with everything about it.

Well I'm using it now to write this review . . and I am really impressed with it's potential. The security of the fingerprint for online shopping is appreciated and convenient. The touch screen is very helpful when browsing various sites and the processor is fast!! The screen is bright and super clear, crisp and great for videos. Super happy I bought this and have absolutely no regrets!!

Great laptop, works fast and quietly. The only complaint is the keyboard, in my office, it is hard to read the backlit keys, the white lettering doesn't stand out on the silver keys. Sometimes I have a hard time finding the odd keys that I don't normally use. But overall, I am very happy with this laptop!

I have had this for about a week and so far I am really happy with it. The screen is very clear and is perfect for video editing. The computer speed is also amazing, though I did come from a 5-year-old laptop, so that may have something to do with it. Set up was easy and I love the fingerprint reader. It also comes with USB ports, an SD port, and a Thunderbolt port. It's also very lightweight for a 17 inch. The sound is amazing though I usually have headphones on, but if I needed to use the speakers for something it would have great sound. I also love that start-ups and shutdowns are so fast.

I am a software developer and am looking for one system which works flawlessly in my IDEs. This laptop is amazing right from day one. Camera, RAM, Display, SSD storage and most importantly software updates are right on and integrate well with overall Windows 10 OS without causing any driver issues. I researched and exhanged atleast 3 laptops before settling on this one. Loved the keyboard and num keypad. Makes my work easy and hp does it best when it comes to laptops. Don't buy Dell at any cost. It's utterly useless although might have attractive configuration and reasonable price. Their systems heat up quickly, had software issues, cameras won't work after Windows updates. Buy this 17inch laptop from hp and you will be happy about it.
