The large 17” screen is great. The speed is good compared to my old laptop. This review is more about information shared before purchase than the product itself though. I asked the salesman many questions before deciding on what laptop to purchase. I told him my 3 top reasons for decision making on my purchase. 1. Is there plenty of storage to transfer my thousands of pics from old laptop to new? He answered yes plenty. I have not worked on this yet as I have some more pic and video organizing to do beforehand. 2. I use Microsoft Money. I saved the program with many years past of info on a flash drive. Will the new laptop download off the flash drive so I can continue using Microsoft Money. He said yes. However, I came to find out it will not. This was beyond disappointing. 3. I saved my iTunes program and all my music content on a flash drive. Will the new laptop accept the flash drive and put all my old music onto my new computer? He said yes. It however, won’t do this either. Very disappointing. I will try to make an appointment as I’m a totaltech member to see if I can get help to get my Microsoft money and iTunes onto the new computer. I hope someone can find the solution for me. I did call apple support for the iTunes issue. They could not solve the problem unfortunately.

Picture is really clear and runs well, I can play a game and be on a call at the same time. I was a little disappointed with the camera quality. The touchscreen is a fun novelty feature but not very useful for my purposes (especially because this laptop is the classic hinge style and not the 2-in-1). I like how fast it is and I'm happy with the purchase, it seems perfectly reliable

I had researched many 17 inch screen laptops. I kept returning to the HP ENVY as it had all the features I was interested in and I was replacing a HP laptop that was over 9 years old- and still working well. The ENVY came with Windows 11 which made the transfer very easy. The screen colors are vibrant and I've been extremely pleased with my purchase! I had the Geek Squad transfer all my data and programs to my new ENVY which made my life stress free! The Sales, Manager for the HP ENVY, Jennifer was knowledgeable and helpful answering my questions.

Love my new laptop. A touch of my finger turns it on and ready. Lightweight. Salesperson was professional and helpful and took my new laptop right to Geek Squad to have old laptop downloaded to my new. Geek Squad is fabulous. Everyone is so helpful and knows what they are doing!

I've owned this laptop for almost two years now and have found that it has performed to my expectations and more. Zooming in and out and sliding the screen left to right with the touchpad has become favorable to using a regular mouse.

This is an easy to use, easy on the eyes laptop. The only change I would make is the keyboard. Silver backlit makes it hard to see in a bright room (although great when not bright) I think a black keyboard would have been a better choice. It has plenty of storage is not too heavy and I LOVE the big screen!

One place that this computer doesn’t shine, is looks, because it’ very basic & could very well blend in well with just about every other silver or grey laptop out there. Nothing stood out to me when it came the to the personalization of the desktop & layout. The limited choices are very ordinary looking. But looks can be deceiving…. This laptop is most definitely not a disappointment. I use if for work and it does everything that I need it to and then some. It doesn’t lag & has quick page turnaround times. It came with windows 10 pro so you don’t have to worry about the computer blocking you from any downloads. The internal memory and processor that make up the internals of this machine seem to be paired well. You get a feel for the time they took to decide what goes with what under the hood of this laptop. If I had to score it, I would give it a very high 7 out if 10. HP could’ve done more with the personalization options. Given how many different brands and models of computers that are out there nowadays… having the ability to heavily personalize ours, is what helps us stand out from the crown.

I bought it as a laptop but it is my full time primary computer and seldom travels. Works exceedlingly well. I have multiple drives and monitors running off of it 24/7. When I have taken it traveling, it does what it has to with a single stumble.

This is a great computer! It has replaced an older HP laptop. Plenty of speed and storage. I wanted a larger screen and it is brilliant. Very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a great laptop! It's my second HP Envy and it's better than the first. The speed is terrific, graphics are bright and sharp and the sound is loud and clear. I would recommend this computer to anyone.

So far so good! Love the speed. Easy to use keyboard. The number pad was a must. Screen large enough. Purchased to use on desk most of time, but light and easy enough to travel with when I need it to.

HP Envy laptop with 17” monitor has very nice screen resolution and comfortable key/touchpad configuration. Nice ports. A little heavy, but for home use it’s not a problem because we don’t carry it very often, nor very far. Best Buy customer service was excellent when we needed to trade in our first one due to a malfunctioning touch pad. They swapped it out for a new one without a problem. Second one has worked perfectly so far (2 weeks in to ownership).

I already purchased a similar one in 2016 which i still have and haven't had any real problems with. It has great speed and I'm enjoying Windows 11. I will follow-up in further updates

I am way behind the times. My last laptop was purchased in 2010. I am easily impressed. Really like the big screen. I think it is lightweight compared to my old laptop

I love the new laptop. I had no problems adding might older software to this Windows !! system. I have had no problems with the system at all. Love the bigger screen!

Always believe when you are talking computers that the HP brand is the best - I have never had any problems with them. Don't really use the touchscreen, but is nice to know that it is there if needed.

Large display with great features and functionality. Lighting quick processor makes for quick tasks and it can handle games well also. All around great value and buy.
