Great computer, fast but I hate that they make you pay for the Microsoft word and excel. When you pay this much for a computer, it should be included.

purchased for my wife. she generally has some difficulty with electronics but this one was very easy for her to adapt

It is very fast, has all the programs that I need to do my home office functions. Work well for online classes as well.

Love the computer. Easy to use. My only regret is getting the protection plan. Had I known the 3 year up plan is half the price I would have waited

Considering everything, this laptop does what I expect it to do performance wise and can run what I need for school, while even having 4 or 5 other applications open in the background. HP just didn’t do a good job with the quality of some of their hardware, especially considering the price tag on this thing. On THREE separate occasions, my BIOS just randomly decided that it was corrupt and I can’t turn on my computer unless I turn it on in a certain mode to recover/load another BIOS. I was seriously freaking out as I’m a Junior in college and my life revolves around my laptop. Calling HP is how I figured out how to boot it back up and luckily, everything was fine. HP came off as if it were just another day in the office...and then a couple months later this happened again and then again another couple months down the road. Considering this laptop is part of their “premium” line, one would think the computer wouldn’t have an issue like a corrupt BIOS. I expect issues from computers on average, man made them, they aren’t perfect. I would just think better care would have been taken on crucial components of the computer such as this. Aside from this, and some bugs in Windows 10 (which is more than likely attributed to Microsoft) this laptop does what I need it to do, and the exterior does give off a premium vibe.
