This laptop is fast and has a wonderfully clear screen. The only downside is the cheap DVD player that came installed. I bought this computer specifically because the user requested an internal drive which is hard to find. It really doesn't work well but is manageable. Otherwise, a great computer.

I like larger laptops for work at home. I enjoy the touch screen capability. I do not like the fact that the key board letters, numbers and symbols are difficult to read at an angle. Great if you look from directly above because back light helps.

This laptop is incredible! It is fast and the battery is very good as well. The only issue I've had was the fingerprint scanner stopped working after a software update. I contacted HP and they were able to assist me with updating the drive and it has been working since. This is a great buy!

This machine works as expected. It is quick and convenient, and I love the large 17+" screen, which was a major selling point for me. The only issue is that I had to take it back several times because it wouldn't consistently connect to the internet. It turns out there was defective wi-fi hardware. The machine was replaced and the new one works great.

Didn't think I needed new touch screen laptop.... but turns out , I love it! Learning curve on updated technology and operating system....easy adjustment. Very happy with this machine, an updated, improved version of my old 17" laptop.

I can’t find any faults with this laptop by HP. It’s my first HP after years of Sony, Dell and others. It is fast and does everything well. The touch screen is very responsive and the keyboard easy to use. Love the finger print sign on. It boots in less than 5 seconds. So far, it’s a gem.

I needed a laptop to mimic my Desktop as much as possible, but my desktop has three 27" or larger monitors and many performance upgrades. This laptop has enough memory, storage, and graphics abilities to do just what I needed it to do. Wifi was easy to set up as were my network connections. This laptop is a great value for the money!

Sometimes, you just have to upgrade, and this Envy had features I was looking for. I knew they would force Windows users to 10 eventually, so I just used the moment to upgrade. Super Fast, Backlit Keyboard, Fingerprint Secure and Camera Lock-out. Nice middle of road Computer.

Replaced a desktop. Other than the smaller screen, it does everything better. Extremely fast. Screen is very bright with high resolution. I don't travel much anymore, so weight and battery life were not a major consideration. Very happy with overall performance.

I've had this laptop for a month already and I love it. It's fast and quiet. I like the design, it looks stylish and it's also durable. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for a 17' screen laptop.

My desktop died and I was looking for a replacement. Initially I was looking for another desktop. However when my eye fell on this laptop I was sold. I have no regrets. Great display. Beautifully designed.

This new lap top is fast and loaded with options. I am not a computer geek but rather an 80 yr old techno-idiot. It is basic enough to work for me and sophisticated to sufficiently please my grandsons. Reasonably priced and a good product.
