I chose this laptop because it has all the connections I need: Ethernet, three USB so I can connect my printer by hardwire, HDMI, and mini USB. I also still burn all my iTunes music on CD for backup in case my computer crashes (it has happened before), so I can recreate my library for my iPod. Yes, I'm old school! I recommend the solid state drive to all, the speed is great!

I am enjoying this laptop, I love the keyboard and the screen is large and sharp. This is a replacement for a desktop and I wanted to keep the same larger screen and options, such as disc drive and this laptop met all my requirements.

I've been using this for a month and so far its working great. Its pretty fast for me. I'm not a computer nerd so I don't really know much else. Surfing the net it works great. I use Xfinity cable internet which I'm sure that helps.

So far works flawlessly, loaded with all user options I could need. Larger screen for laptop is very nice. SSD disk version, very fast. I needed portability, but don't move it often, so size is perfect for me. Happy.

I needed a device for my training schedule and the large screen allows me to maintain a view in multiple windows. And the optical drive (which seems to be fading away) allowed me to re-install my previously purchased software.

I am not a computer geek, but I really like this laptop. So easy to get up and running and going to work. Looks good and is so light compared to my previous laptop it is amazing. I personally do not like touchscreens so I also got a mouse. Simple to install and works great.

I real liked the resolution and speed but I want the battery to be external. It is hard to replace when the time will come. The price I paid I should be getting little more GBs of SSD. Overall it is a decent product and very fast. This is my third HP. The customer service and technical service of HP is very poor now. I was sitting for more than an hour and then it went to India. This never happened in the past. I received 7/24 service during my warranty period. The keyboard is very good and battery life is also good right now. It starts very quickly in about 10 to 15 seconds. This product is still very new and I will see how it will go in the future so I can not comment on the hardware quality and performance in the future.

Well built machine with good features and capabilities. Set-up was good. However, my Windows crashed in just under 30 days, forcing me to get recovery key and bitlock numbers from Microsoft, when my primary mode for on line work was disabled. I then found out that my warranty, and Geek maintenance contract, did not cover software issues, and so had new additional expenses. The failure prevented access to the hard drive, so all data on the hard drive was lost. I still like the notebook, and hope that the crash was the only problem and will be remembered as a blip in a long smooth drive.

We like to travel in our motorhome and can not always get satellite service or cable. Having this laptop with built in cd/dvd player is a plus since most do not have them anymore. the larger screen is great. We love it.

Laptop is solid state rather than hard drive so starts up very quickly. This is my main computer so like the 17" size. The keyboard is a little hard to see.

Bought this new to replace my old HP. Read the reviews and compared to others. I have owned several HP laptops and they are easy to use. Love the HD screen. Very clear. Computer is fast. Nice color with the gray.

Superfast bootup and gains access to a lot of things very quickly. Setup with internet was a sinch and within seconds had the internet up and running. Very fast computer and I am very happy with the purchase.

My new HP Envy 17.3 TS laptop looks great in front of me and feels great while using it. It's easy to use and has beautiful visuals on screen. It's also lighter to carry in my backpack than I expected.

My wife works as a free-lance translator and needs portability, speed and very importantly, a numeric pad to type special characters. The HP=Envy delivers in each area. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I love this one because of the 17.3” screen. I’m 44 it’s and it’s getting harder to read somethings on smaller screens. I also sometimes watch movies on this so the bigger screen is nice for that as well.

For the price, this seems to be one of the best offerings on the market for the present time. Solid, powerful, superfast and good looking. Does everything I want it to do and does it well. Great purchase!

I just love my touch screen laptop. It's the right size screen and my keypad has an easy touch for fast keyboarding. I don't leave home without my laptop.

This laptop is replacing my older HP. It is definitely faster and provides me with all the features I was looking for. Customer sales at the store were exceptional. I am definitely satisfied.

Like the value and size of computer but battery life is weak. Battery fully charged only seems to last 4 hours?

I bought this laptop to work with photography and video editing. I was surprised by the high quality of this computer. Coated in some kind of metal on the outside, the wue makes this laptop even stronger and resistant to extreme situations such as heat or cold.
