I bought this for my adult daughter. She checked reviews for all kinds of laptops and the HP Envy came out on top, so we got it. We took it back two weeks later because she never could get it to hold onto a WiFi connection. When they tried in the store, it wouldn't connect to their WiFi either! So we got another new HP Envy, took it home, and it wouldn't connect either. We took it back to the store, but this time it worked with their WiFi just fine. My daughter really loved the Envy, so we decided we'd take it back home and replace our Apple N router with Apple's new AC router, even though the Envy is supposed to work with ANY router, and if that didn't work we get an Ethernet cable to attach to the Envy and have HP run a diagnostic on it. The AC router came two days later, we hooked it up (which took about 1 minute), and VIOLA! The Envy has worked like a champ ever since. She LOVES it. I'd have given it 5 stars if not for this issue. Fabulous computer!

This computer was so easy to setup because it identifies your WiFi and walks you through the setup by voice command. I would definitely recommend this computer. Also I like the touch screen.

I'm very satisfied with this computer as a desktop replacement. It is big, but for work at home that is perfect. It is easy to use, handles nicely and is fast. It fits my needs.

This computer is big and very light...a clear screen with good sound and great camera..easy to use and take anywhere you go..is probably the best laptop I hav ever purchase so far

Fast, touch screen, light weight, HD, great sound, long battery life. All in all a really sharp computer. Very easy to load and activate, mostly automatic. I am very pleased.

Love it because there is enough screen space to open enough windows for my applications. Good speed, good memory, facial recognition is iffy but it works for the most part.

I am very satisfied with this computer. It is easy to use, fast, and easy to navaigate. I wish that the software still had the former version of Windows Live Mail as I don't like the newer version.

I am impressed with this laptop. I have had windows laptops for years but thus one us the best so far. Large hd screen, very fast. I like the fact it included a dvd drive and plenty of USB ports.

Great computer for the money, the screen size is awesome. The speakers are a little weak, ultimate ears speaker fixed that, but everything else is great.

Love this laptop. Performs as advertised. Has all the features I wanted, including 17 inch touchscreen, DVD player, hard-drive, and speed. When I placed all my requirements into the BestBuy web site and compared features... It narrowed my choices to this laptop and none other. Didn't like Microsoft update. Caused camera to stop working. Called Microsoft and fixed problem. Everything works fine now... Problem was a Microsoft update problem... nothing more.

Find myself going back to school; I wanted a laptop dedicated for just that. HP makes solid laptops; this is no exception. Nice, big screen, backlit keyboard so I'm not straining my eyes; plenty of storage space; and, most of all, it should stand up to the usage I'm putting it through.

I love my HP Envy 17.3" laptop. It has Core i7 processor and is fast, fast, fast. The 17.3" screen is so much nicer to use for viewing spreadsheets, pictures, and just about anything else on the screan than my old 15" laptop. I don't use the touch screen much, but it is there if I want to. Because it is a 17" screen, the keyboard and number pad are a little more spread out and easier to use. It is a great laptop.

With the big screen it is easy to see and use. Fast and efficient to look at emails, Facebook and internet. Also has fun games preinstalled.

I purchased this computer for myself for Christmas. I LOVE the computer! My only "dislike", if it could be considered as a dislike, is that I was very fond of Windows 7 on my previous 17" Dell. (The Dell has been with me for about 7 years.) Windows 10 is starting to "grow" on me, but it will be okay eventually. The HP Envy 17" is FAST, and relatively easy to negotiate. The 16 GB of RAM is quick, and the hard drive gives me an enormous amount of space for the large number of photos and other business files I keep.

This is my first laptop it a little heavier then expected so it good that I'm not carrying it around but I do love the speed and the features

I'm very pleased with the speed and power of my HP Envy Laptop. Graphics are crisp and clear. It does everything I need for it to.

I purchased the HP Envy 17.3" laptop to replace an older one. Right out of the box, this laptop has an upgraded quality that is immediately noticeable. The silver tone color bleeds classiness, while the keyboard has excellent fingertip feel and absolutely smooth and quiet typing. There are many consumers that prefer laptops with smaller screens, but I prefer one that has a 17-inch size. All in all, this product is top of the line and I recommend it to anyone shopping for a new laptop.

Works as promised. Great speed, screen resolution is very good. It is a big laptop and can be a little heavy to cart around.

The screen resolution is high and the touch experience enhances all of your computing tasks. Overall, a wonderful computer for a very fair price.

I settled on the HP Envy 17.3 Touch-Screen Laptop because I was looking for a computer that wouldn’t be in the way in my very small house, but would serve as my main computer and screen for watching video, movies, and Internet TV. This machine has both the power and versatility that I was looking for. The screen is clear from a distance, even from off to the side a bit, and I really appreciate the full-sized keyboard with number pad when it's time to get to work.
