Handles multi-tasking well. A little heavier than other models but is fast and efficient.

Very satisfied with my laptop and printer. The only thing I dont really care for is Windows 10 I was use to Windows original format and this was completely different. It is taking time for me to learn how to use certain features.

This computer is perfect for business & has a 17" screen. Great resolution & the speed is awesome.

I love my new HP laptop. Especially the larger screen! I don't need to transport it so the size was not a concern for me. I use it mostly for work, in my home office, and it's great. The touch screen is a plus too.

I upgraded from an earlier core I7 in 2014 and I notice it is faster than my old laptop.With the 16gb memory and the 8th gen I7 it is faster loading programs

The screen on this computer is AMAZING! It has more than enough memory for my use, and is quite speedy! Never freezes up like my old, old one this laptop replaces. It is a 17.3" screen, which I like, but I also don't carry it around much. Not sure how comfortable it would be if you needed to carry this every day. This is not my first HP.... It is probably my third, and they just keep getting better.

This computer was chosen because needed one with a backlit keyboard. And this one woks fine. The only thing that was not that great was that this computer comes with a DVD RW driver (was hoping to have it as BD RW). Also, the DVD drive damaged few DVDs while taking a system image backup. Don't know what exactly is the issue with the drive, but had an external DVD writer and it worked just fine, so my guess is that the internal DVD Writer is not that great...

The HP Envy 17M-AE111DX is a great laptop. Big, huge and HD screen with beautiful back-lighted full-size keyboard. Latest I7 quad with MX150 graphics chip (and another Intel helping it!) with 16 gigs of fast RAM. Runs pretty fast and I already have replaced the hard drive with a 1TB Samsung 850 EVO ssd and just added a 500GB Samsung 860 EVO in the M.2 slot. Lots of performance and it all went together without any major problems. Now looking forward to lots of \hours of fun and games!

sales man was great, very helpfuil & explained everything, was able to answer all my questions was somewhat disappointed with my first encounter with Geek Squad, felt very rushed & did not have things clearly explained , he expected me to know & understand what he was saying & I did not, I was dismissed well before I should have been

I'm used to high end equipment, so I didn't skimp on my new laptop. The amount spent doesn't always predict the quality of the item but in this case the money was a great investment. The keyboard has an excellent touch and sensitivity. The display is crisp, the color vibrant. It is very fast. I don't get to play solitaire while programs load any more. It is beautiful, a pleasure to use. It has the ports and connectivity I need. It's a really sweet laptop.

This is a great laptop. It works really well and is really fast. I would have preferred to get a model with a SSD but this is a good second choice.

I love this laptop. I get comments about how big it is but I like the size. I like the larger screen and the larger keyboard. Most important it is fast and can handle all the jobs I have to do. I work on websites, review security cameras and create content. The Envy can handle all my jobs at once! My old laptop would crash all the time. So glad I bought this.

This is one fantastic computer the screen is crystal clear you can touch it and it comes on you can speak to it it's absolutely 1000% fantastic

Love the large screen on this & excellent sound. Set up was super easy. Good number of USB ports and an Ethernet port I use. The only negative I have experienced is the large size of this laptop—it just *barely* fits into my napsack. But even with that I’d buy this computer again. To get a smaller model, I would have had to give up the internal dvd/cd drive.

This purchase is to replace an older hp laptop (2012) where the hinges disintegrated. HP will not longer repair the older laptop due to its age, 5.5 years is old to them! So far we are pleased with the new laptop, it starts quickly, has an aluminum case and it appears the weak hinge problem may be resolved. The color and clarity of the screen is very good. The only complaint is the silver letters/numbers on gray keys. Sometimes these can be hard to see, especially in bright light. As for performance, no problems and the access to the internet is fast. I have gotten quite used to the touch screen and rarely reach for the mouse. Overall a good decision to purchase this laptop

Very nice laptop. Speed and performance is good. Edges of the laptop need to be smoothed out. Heavier than any other 17 inch laptop that I very owned.

Fantastic product, graphic design is really good, also animations are great also. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

The Envy laptop has been great. I love that it is Slim, the system is really fast, and it has been so easy to use!

I love my new HP laptop. So easy to set up and use. I love the touch screen feature. Makes life so much easier! :)
