Replaced my 10 year old laptop with this amazing HP. Touchscreen was a must for me and I love it. Was concerned the screen would be too small after having a larger one but love the size. Compact, fast, easy to navigate. Great purchase!

The 8640U is basically a 7640U with AI features. But for the price, I couldn't find any other new laptops with 16GB of memory. Not a fan of the Copilot key even if the software itself is useful. Build quality feels good, since it's a 360 degree hinge, I doubt there will be problems like with other HP laptops. Screen doesn't get bright enough outdoors, but it's good enough for consuming media and light gaming. The battery life is great. Light use is around 10 hours with lots of standby time. Could last for 2 days if used carefully enough.

Great alternative to the pricey macbook air for college students. Battery life is excellent, performance is fast. Would've been much better with 1tb of storage, but external SSD are always an available option. Definitely not for hardcore gamers, but runs games like Endless Zone Zero okay.

I have been very pleased with this purchase. The touch screen is great, the keys are a good size and convenient to use. It is lightweight and very easy to set up and begin using. I would highly recommend this laptop. I use this for normal, casual use.

I got this for 550. For that price, Here are the reviews. Pros: good build, good keyboard layout, good size track pad, Touch screen, you can use it as a tablet, Looks very good, 16gb ram Cons: Gets a little hot, Screen isn't high resolution (You can't get good screen for this price point), You can't open it with one hand ( If that matters to you, I don't think any 360 convertible laptop can be open with one hand. I use Linux on this laptop and some key doesn't work like the screen brightness and sound. I don't know if its the laptop or the operating system. ( In windows everything works)

I love my new laptop! The screen is great, the keyboard is comfortable, and the battery lasts a long time. It's fast and easy to use, and it looks sleek and sturdy. I'm so glad I bought it - it's a great value for the price.

This is a great entry level laptop with AMD Graphics a decent size hard drive and RAM. The laptop is great for someone who needs to do stuff on the go and if you can't use the regular keyboard that is no problem you can use the onscreen keyboard once you fold it into tablet mode. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for something with a little bit extra power and wants a touchscreen option.

Great laptop for the specs, the performance & the ability to multi task using CPU intensive apps on the fly is amazing! Got the new AMD Ryzen 5 processor in it as well. Touch screen is amazing!

I bought this computer for my freshman year of college and after one full semester I can say that this computer is a great choice. It is reliable and easy to navigate, the touchscreen makes it especially to use. Having the option to flip the screen is also helpful when copying something down from the laptop and many other instances. The battery can last almost 2 days without charge depending on how much I use it. This is a great choice at a great price point.

I didnt want a big laptop so this 14" screen is perfect. I love the computer size, speed, convenience of being small so I can take it anywhere from doctors appointments to sittng on my couch. Love it.

Great all-around laptop, coming from being an Apple only user, I was hesitant, but I am locked in and amused by this HP laptop. From working from home to full-time graduate student at USC, this is getting the work done and I love how easy it is to navigate and the quality it gives.

Got this computer for my son heading into college and he says it is a phenomenal computer with all the bells and whistles. Processing is fast. Connectivity is great. Highly recommend.

Very nice product, I really enjoy the large keyboard design. Easy to setup and download programs. The battery life is more than enough for most uses. The price was around what I expected to pay. The salesman was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I also appreciate the touch screen and display size.

excellent images on screen/ compact and easy to handle/ relatively easy to transfer files from old computer/ nicely set up for software and apps.

I LOVE THIS LAPTOP <3. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and it works perfectly. I currently use it for gaming as well as school purposes. You can use it for about 3.5 - 4 hours straight or so before having to recharge. If you're using it for notes, you do have to separately buy a stylus. I would recommend the Metapen Stlus M1, which you can get for $30 off amazon. Other than that, the size and power is perfect for college students. Would definitely recommend.
