Perfect Laptop and up to date configuration for today's standards. Everything I was looking for in a modern laptop was fulfilled and it also priced perfectly (sale price $300 off). The only area that would have made this more than a 10, would have been nice to have the option to upgrade the RAM from 16GB to 32GB. Probably after a year I'll look into upgrading the RAM to 32GB.

I love everything about the HP Envy and happy I made the switch from my Surface Pro.

Laptop screen size is good with latest processor and 16 gb ram, but built quality is average had some clicking noise on the screen where it joins the metal.Screen is good size but brightness and colours where not that great. Speakers are ok but not great.I expected it to be on par with a macbook with almost the same msrp and the latest internals but was the experience was quite underwhelming and hence returned it.

While the salesman in the store was friendly and helpful, however, the model I thought I wanted based on his information was in the store and so it was ordered and shipped to my house. The in-store model was 1TB which I didn't need, he ordered a 512GB which was supposed to be the same except for the TB. When it was delivered, I discovered it wasn't otherwise the same - it didn't have a 10-key pad which was one of my specific needs... which meant I had to make another trip to the store, order another computer, and have it shipped to my home. I'm not giving them a lower score because the gentleman that assisted me on my return trip was helpful and understanding of my irritation. He spoke with the manager and the manager gave me an additional discount on the new computer, which I appreciated because I had to buy the more expensive computer with the TB which I really don't need. But the computer itself is working fine.
