I needed something to learn to code and just something pretty basic. Nothing real fancy. This does just the job. Plenty of space and the processor is perfect for what I need to use this for. Love the touch screen and portability. Lightweight and battery life is really good.

recently purchased the HP Envy 14 laptop from Best Buy and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It has an 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, which means that it can handle even the most demanding tasks with ease. I've been using it for work, video editing, and gaming, and it hasn't let me down yet. I have some issue on battery life but other things it’s really Awesome

This is our fourth HP laptop as a family in the last five years. A full-on value, all the features we wanted, setup fast and easy, boots fast, runs everything! Battery life is very good so far, love the backlit keyboard and touchscreen. Smaller and lighter than predecessors with even more power. A+

I was just looking for laptop when I went to Best Buy . Sales person this one would be a gold buy so I went it . Simply because it i7 processors with good ram and storage. But once I got it’s lot more than that. I sometimes use it as a tablet and most of time I use it like laptop. I was movies on this even though I have big tv at home. Clarity on this laptop screen is awesome. Great laptop and Best Buy definitely has the best deal on electronics.

I've used the HP Envy 2-in-1 for almost 15 months, and it's been a great purchase. I got it during a Thanksgiving offer for $679, and it has performed flawlessly. The Intel Core i7, 16GB memory, and 1TB SSD make it fast and efficient. The touch screen works perfectly, and the build quality is solid. No issues at all. The screen and keyboard on this laptop are great. I had read reviews of this model which said the gray letters on the keys are hard to see and I agree that white lettering would be more visible but I've had no problem with it. The keys have a good feel to them too, and they're far enough apart that you don't accidentally hit two at once. The trackpad is responsive; the left and right mouse buttons are underneath the trackpad along its bottom edge and don't require a lot of force to press them. Some reviews I read said the screen isn't bright enough but it looks great to me. I don't play games on it or do anything especially compute-intensive, but for what I've done with it so far the speed seems very good and it boots pretty quickly. Initial setup was easy; just answer a bunch of questions. The ability to use it as a tablet is a nice bonus. The hinges seem sturdy and when you open the screen all the way around so that the back of the screen is touching the back of the laptop, it ignores the keyboard and trackpad so that you don't accidentally type or click things. As with any tablet, the display automatically rotates based on which end is "up", and you can bring up a virtual keyboard for typing. I haven't used it much as a tablet but it's light enough that I think it can be used this way pretty comfortably. I haven't tried running it on the battery for a long time so I don't yet know how long it lasts, but I thought I saw a spec sheet somewhere which estimated 9 hours. Overall I'm very happy with this laptop and I would recommend it.

This computer is supposed to have 16gb of ram and an i7 processor butit was moving slower than my broken macbook for the first week I was using it. As I started playing around in task manager, I realized that every application that I was downloading was automatically receiving permission to launch in the background whenever the computer turns on. It seems like a massive design flaw to force your users to manually disable that functionality for every single app. Other than that, I am quite happy with the computer, it works well, charges quickly, and I didn’t even realize it had a touch screen until I had spent a few days with it.
