BEST. LAPTOP. I have NEVER had such an amazing laptop!!!! It is SOOO cool and the fingerprint scan is A+++++ I would HIGHLY recommend anyone getting a new laptop today, GET THE SCANNER. It is for YOUR protection. It is WORTH the extra $$$$ You need to invest in this laptop like you would invest in your car. ESPECIALLY if you are using your technology on a daily basis whether for work, games, etc. GET THIS. It is WORTH THE MONEY! You can even play PC games on it if you like that in great quality and run time... you need it, I know you want it... GET IT! GET IT NOW!!! :D No complaints so far as far as I know, and i've had it for less than 2 weeks. SUPER great. Well done HP, WELL DONE!!!

Powerful and fast. Great HD screen. Light for transport between home and office. Battery life is overstated. Miss the days when software was pre-loaded and a micro-soft account was not mandated.

This is my first laptop, and I really like it. The touchscreen is helpful even though the keyboard is a nice size. I had a much older computer, and this laptop seems so much faster. My grandson helped me set it up and I particularly like the fingerprint security.

Unfortunately, my experience with this device has been far from satisfactory due to its persistent overheating issues and the intrusive loud fan noise. Even during light usage, such as web browsing or document editing, the laptop's temperature quickly rises to uncomfortable levels. It's disappointing that the device struggles to maintain reasonable thermal management, as this greatly impacts its performance and longevity. The fan noise further compounds the issue. In an attempt to mitigate the overheating, the laptop's fan kicks into high gear, generating an exceptionally loud and distracting noise. This noise is not only bothersome during quiet environments but also becomes increasingly noticeable in louder surroundings, making it difficult to concentrate or enjoy multimedia content. It's worth mentioning that these problems are not isolated incidents, as several users have reported similar issues with various HP laptop models. While occasional fan noise is expected during demanding tasks, the excessive noise and constant fan operation seem to be inherent flaws in the design or cooling system of these laptops. Regrettably, attempts to address these issues through software adjustments or updates have yielded minimal improvement. The laptop's thermal performance remains subpar, and the fan noise persists. Moreover, extended usage sessions or running resource-intensive applications aggravate the overheating problem, making the laptop uncomfortable to use for extended periods. On a positive note, the HP laptop does possess some commendable features. Its overall performance, when not hampered by overheating, is decent, allowing for smooth multitasking and general productivity. Additionally, the build quality and design aesthetics of the laptop are satisfactory, giving it a premium look and feel. Perfect size for portability. Comes with McAfee pre-installed. Purchased the Microfost pkg with it and it was totally worth it. Despite it being Black Friday when we went to the Best Buy in Orem, they handled the crowd and lines efficiently. We were intimidated at first and thought about leaving but then we felt the price was worth standing in that humongous line so we agreed to suffer through it. But to our surprise we got to the cashier within 20 minutes. They had stacks of laptops and other stuff behind the counter and knew exactly wher to pull what people were there for and BOOM we were rung up and outta there! It was awesome. Best Black Friday experience ever! Thank you Best Buy for being so efficient!
