Bought a laptop online and I had to pick it up the following day. However, I missed a letter in my email address and it made it impossible for me to download my Word package. At the store the gentleman could not help me, nether did he NEED any help from his collogues. He sent me on my way and asked to call a certain number. On the other side of the line I was told to go back to the store, they could not help. The following day I drove another 40 minutes and found a different agent at the store. He remembered me from the previous day. I told him what was up. He fixed it in 2 to 3 minutes. The laptop s working just fine

TLDR - It gets very hot and awful HP customer support This laptop gets very hot and make as very loud fan noise, way more than any previous laptop I’ve had (even same ondee HP model). I reached out to HP support to try to get help, and they told me that it’s because I have “too many chrome tabs open”, which is surprising for a powerful computer like this. I asked them if they could check it with the warranty, but it seems like HP has all sorts of barriers to avoid consumers from using the warranty.

Overall, a good computer. Only critical comment is that the brightness of the screen is not as bright as desired and, therefore, advise NOT purchasing this computer for graphics and photo design/editing. I only use it for remotely controlling my telescope and astrophotography equipment via an ethernet to USB cable which works very well. Enhancing the computer use with astrophotography is the 'night screen' which provides red graphics over a black background. I use a separate HP desktop with a 32 inch monitor for astrophotography post processing which provides the exceptional detail for photographs.
