does not have a number keypad, did not realize until I got it home and started to work on a spreadsheet. Just hate. the salesman did not point this out and I did not realize until I got it home. also, the keypad is off because of no number pad.

Bought this computer on June of last year. Used only for school assignments. Screen started flickering all of a sudden.

Had very high hope for this and was eager to use it for long many years to come. When unboxed it however, multiple giveaways made me think this had been used and then made look like factory sealed: finger prints on the screen, clumsily packed power cord placed half way into the plastic bag, crinkled protecting insert (placed between the screen and keyboard), lack of the characteristic odor of new electronic equipment specially when the fan was on (a distinct combination of new plastic hot surface, soldering materials, printed boards, etc) , and ah, did I mention dead pixels? So either HP quality control who passed this was high on something, or something had gone wrong on this laptop at BB at some point of time. I in fact asked the BB store associate (who kept looking for the digital download which was only emailed to me in the box and eventually failed to refund me fully because couldn't find it!!) to confirm this wasn't an open box item! I'm verged very close to losing my trust in both HP and BB. If nothing else, BB at the minimum has to train their people so to avoid such embarrassing performance at the return desk.

For the first couple months of light use it was great for the most part. But then I started playing video games again and while yes you can play them. It heats up terribly. Now after less than a year, the trackpad seems like it's going out. If I'm lucky it's under some kind of warranty. But this is all from LIGHT use and playing a game on it like once a month or so. Not to mention the speakers aren't that good. My Samsung tablet has better speakers in it.

I'm giving this laptop a low rating because I've had it a little over 3 mos and the display no longer works! Apparently I have to send it to friggin hp to get it fixed, since it's under warranty. The laptop isn't exactly quick either. Re the display, it would 'brown out' once in awhile so maybe that was the precursor for it failing, not sure. Regardless I am NOT happy that I have to send it out to get fixed. Fair warning to anyone whose screen starts to brown out.

I’ve only had this laptop for roughly four months total and have been using it for two months due to nursing school. In the first month the screen has been flickering on and off. Currently the mute button light will not turn off. And there are many windows updates one after another. I’ve spent roughly 800$ on this laptop and attempted to ignore the small issues since it is past the date I could return when I’ve started noticing these issues.

I bought this computer and exchanged it days later because it started to glitch The replacement I exchanged the original for also glitches. The glitches were initially seconds long, then the glitching caused it to shut off. The computer started freezing. Its reallt disappointing because I love the color, screen size, the speakers and lighted keypad. I hate to give it up but I must.

I had to do a lot of back and forth. Now I can not access my Microsoft Outlook contacts on my old or new laptop?

Every now and then, it blinks to a black screen - it's just for a moment, but it's disruptive.

Over all a good computer and easy to use. I wish it had a stylist that came with it.

Very bad experience from this HP product. This laptop was purchased new but LCD panel kept flickering so badly and there was no way to use it for more than 2 hours without rebooting. Missed the return period and had to send it to HP warranty repair and got the LCD replaced, but they downgraded the laptop by replacement with lower brightness without letting me know (from original 400 nits to 250 nits). It makes the panel a lot dimmer than before. I was able to set it at middle level for a good brightness before repair, but now have to maximize it still not feel bright enough. Contacted with HP support but they refused to resolve the issue, saying the panel they replace should be 400 nits. I have another Lenovo laptop at 300 nits, compare side by side with the repaired HP laptop, the HP unit is dimmer. How can they say it should be 400 nits? I would avoid products from HP in future.

This computer is not even a year old and I have sent it off for warranty repair twice. I sent it off for repair when it first stopped working just to get it back and it still have issues, so the repair was not correctly tested. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I will be buying a Dell instead and idk what to do with this dumb brick other than keep sending it back for repair until its actually works properly.

Worst laptop I ever purchased in my life. The touchpad is not working properly for the SECOND time and keeps freezing on me. I will see if HP will give me a refund on this thing or what. The touchpad is really the main thing that has always been a problem. On many occasions, my browser will be minimized for no reason due to any slight touch on the mousepad.
