Love this laptop/tablet combo
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent, versatile laptop. Switches from laptop to tablet quickly. Has a back light for keyboard and is lightweight. Performs well and has a quick processor. No complaints at all. I love the touch screen. This is the 8th one we have purchased to use at our business.

So-So performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall pretty solid performance. The battery life is not very good and within 6 months the optane portion of my memory had to be disabled because it said that it had degraded but for what I do on the laptop it doesn't appear to affect much of anything. If I could redo this purchase I probably would have ended up with a desktop computer of some kind. The touch screen is fairly responsive and the fingerprint sensor works pretty well. This is definitely a machine that's meant more for word processing and not so much designing graphics in Adobe illustrator

I really want to like this laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop had pretty much everything I was looking for when I bought it. Lots of memory, a bigger touch screen, an Intel processor, and Windows 11. Everything on the computer was great except one glaring issue. Within the first the first 24 hours the computer crashed and the operating system didn’t automatically reload on startup. I thought it was a fluke at first, but found the computer repeatedly crashed regardless of what I was using it for. This sometimes would occur every 5-10 mins during use. After a week, I was planning on returning it. I learned Windows 11 was having some issues that were causing computers to crash. Looked into it and found I wasn’t having the same issue. After some tinkering and research, I figured out the Intel Optane accelerator was causing the problem. After I disabled it, I didn’t have any more issues. I learned this was a very common issue online and from some experienced IT folks. No new computer should come that messed up. The computer doesn’t need the optane accelerator to work, but I paid for it. HP and Intel need to get that figured out. Windows 11 also has some bugs. I probably wouldn’t buy it again if I knew this problem would occur. At this point it’s also not worth returning, so I am stuck with what I bought. Hopefully a driver update can solve the issue in the future.

Your Best Pick for a Personal Computer
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP-Envy2-in-1 touchscreen laptop is very easy to use. The touch feature is my favorite. The screen is made of great quality and it's easy to navigate programs and features. It's definitely a great value for a personal laptop. Plenty of storage for photos and the screen color is excellent and vivid.

Love this more than the MacBook!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this laptop! It is super fast, easy to operate, the screen is fantastic, and I love the touch screen option. It has good battery life and I like the fact that it is lightweight. I had initially bought a MacBook and had considered the HP Spectre, but would have spent way more than I needed to. I definitely do not regret passing up the MacBook. HP Envy for the win!

Great even a year later!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop a year later. I have had it for over a year now and it has been working pretty nicely. Stays cool, and hasn't had a single issue. It also handles all my tabs like a boss. It has never been slow for me and can even handle some games. Overall, I highly recommend, especially if you are a college student.

Long lasting performance, even after 2.5 years.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop has been awesome. Ive been using almost every day since I bought it over two and a half years ago. It can multitask well even when I push the CPU with too many programs. It does has a tendancy to get hot, so I have to keep it on a slightly elevated laptop stand with vent holes for intense work sessions. The metal body is durable though I'm mostly transporting it in a sleeve in a tote between work and home... I do play some video games like Sims and some XBox games and it holds up, even if I have to tone down the graphics quality. I love this laptop and will be sad when it finally gives up.

Solidly built laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. Got it on sale. You know, some would say this was expensive. But there's a lot of laptops out there that are really total garbage and you could save several hundred bucks on a laptop that is much much less in quality. What I like about the HP is it is solidly built. They have a reputation of making a good laptop. Although I have had some HP laptops in the past that ran sort of hot. But this model does not run hot. It's quiet, it is a nice feature of the touch screen which I really like. Plus it came with the new windows version and it is certified for the new windows version. This thing really is fast. It has a fairly high-end cpu. The display is very crisp. And battery life, even when using things like Microsoft office tools, it's pretty good.

Very Fast and worth the cost to me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this computer for a month now and I love it. It is very fast and easily handles multiple browsers open with a lot of tabs. I was a little nervous about spending extra money on the higher end specs, but I'm so glad I did. I look forward to working on it every day. The battery doesnt have the longest life, but it charges fast and I'm sure I could adjust the settings to conserve the battery; I chose to optimize for processing speed since I work at home with the charger easily accessible. The speakers/volume is actually my only slight complaint. I wish it was louder, but I just hook it up to a bluetooth speaker if I have issues.

Great quality laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the processing speed of this laptop and all of its capabilities. I also love its lightweightness and the fact that I can flip the computer all the way around. My only complaint is the size of its touchscreen mouse. It is way too big and oftentimes my thumbs or palms will accidentally press the mouse while typing.

Perfect just perfect.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop in my opinion is the perfect laptop out there. It doesn't weight a lot. It's thin as hell. Boots up quick. Moves quick. Had a beautiful screen. I've used it for school and I've never regretted it.

Pleased with performance; fair value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with this laptop. I did get it on a nice sale, but still recommend as it is very fast, the touchscreen works well, and the camera and display are both very good quality for this price point. The fingerprint sign on is nice, but I find I must reset it weekly (PIN always an option). It boots quickly compared to competitors and has very little bloatware which is always appreciated. Have used non-stop for about a month and no glitches so far. Mine came with Windows11. It’s not the most amazing laptop around, but having owned countless ones over the years, I think this is a fair value of features for price.

HP IS THE BEST
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not my first HP Envy. It is very nice but some of my favorite things are 1. the bright clear display, 2. the excellent sound quality, 3. the size is perfect for home and travel and 4. I don't use often but I love that it can fold completely back, nice for viewing videos and streaming. Overall I love this computer and when I'm ready for a new one I will likely purchase something similar.

Best upgrade since the Intel i5 version 1..
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 month of solid use before this evaluation. As, I tend to push laptops to their fullest lifespan by upgrading disk drives to SSD's and from minimal to maximum memory. Last laptop was a Dell 5110 (i5 first generation) that is going on 10+ years and still works fine - for most things. After some extensive research, opted for this HP Envy 2-1 laptop. Didn't really need the touch screen; but, did need the Intel i7 late generation processor; SSD, and memory. I tend to do a lot of video, audio, and photo editing as well as wordpress and other database and web-site customization and programming. The speed and responsiveness to having multiple cpu threads and applications running concurrently have supported the decision for this acquisition. Am amazed at how fast it flies. Would definitely recommend or pick up another one.

Great Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer for a great price. It does anything that you would want it to do for working from home, and probable more that you don’t even know about. I’m not a very techy person so it’s very easy for me to use. I only wish I would’ve thought to get a computer with a left and right mouse clicking option, but there are ways around that. Bc it’s touch screen you can do the same functions with your finger. AND that feature that it folds backwards I didn’t think I needed but I am very glad that I have it. Now if I could just keep my kid from using it!!!

Above average performance, high price.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these. The displays are great- above average processing speed. A little pricey for what you get compared to other brands. The motherboard malfunctioned on one 3 months after purchase but HP replaced at no charge. I don’t think HP is what it used to be.
