Simple and straight forward installation and power up.

Purchased a "good" condition open box that has mashed up USB ports, bent bottom. Just makes me worried what happened. Unfortunately got busy and couldn't make the trip to the store that a purchased before the return window

purchased open box excellent. this is what open box excellent looks like! between chat and phone reps would not provide me the difference between open box excellent and fair. want me to drive it back to the store for a refund. between waiting for the item to arrive at home and time spent on chat and phone with reps, what a waste. buyer beware on open box items. They didn’t sold me the computer i was selected in the store, because I selected a i7 intel core and they sold me a i5 ultra core. And in the I want to open the computer for verification and they said I can’t do it

I’ve been using my HP laptop, it’s been a mixed but mostly positive experience. What I liked: • Performance: For everyday tasks like browsing, streaming, and working with Office apps, the laptop runs smoothly without lag. Boot time is quick, thanks to the SSD, and multitasking between several apps feels effortless. • Keyboard & design: The keyboard is comfortable with decent key travel, making long typing sessions easy. The build feels solid, and even though it’s not the thinnest laptop, it’s sturdy enough to carry around. • Display: The screen is bright and clear, with good color reproduction for videos and photos. Watching movies on it has been enjoyable. • Battery life: Under light to moderate use (emails, browsing, documents), the battery comfortably lasts through most of a workday.

As a busy college student and mom, I needed a laptop that could keep up with my studies and support my creativity. The HP Envy 2-in-1 16” 2K Touch-Screen Laptop blew me away from the moment I powered it on. This device is incredibly fast, handles multiple tabs and apps with ease (even during Zoom classes and research sessions), and the 16GB of memory paired with the Intel Core Ultra 5 makes everything seamless. The transformation into a tablet is smooth, and it’s surprisingly lightweight for its size. I purchased a compatible pen, and WOW, this has been a dream for both me and my daughter! We now spend our downtime sketching together on this laptop, and I love that I can use it for both school and self-care. The 2K display is crisp, colors are vibrant, and Glacier Silver? Stunning. I genuinely recommend this laptop to any student, parent, or creative out there. It’s reliable, versatile, and honestly one of the best tech purchases I’ve ever made.

Solid laptop with a very good display that is larger than most at 16" and good color rendition. Everything works well but there is a bug that locks the display in a dim mode on waking from sleep sometimes. This clears back to normal after a reboot. The keyboard is more roomy than the average laptop and is easier to type on but it lacks dedicated numeric keypad. Comes with 16 GB of NON upgradable DRAM and a rather small 512 GB NVMe SSD. I replaced the NVMe drive with a Crucial P5 Plus 1 TB to get a reasonable amount of storage space. Internal speakers are pretty good especially if the laptop is placed on a hard surface as the speakers face down at the front of the PC body. The touch screen is nice too. Battery life seems ok and the Intel Core Ultra 5 125U seems plenty fast. It scores 17921 points on the Passmark CPU mutli-core performance test

I am new to most of the spec on this computer such as the touch screen and lit key pad sooo awesome , upload very quickly upon turning on( 3 months later).The pixel, the sharpness, easy on the eyes. Best buy you out did yourself . Had it not been for the Bandon store sales clerk who introduce me to this laptop, i would have miss out on this wonderful computer. This computer was not even in store stock, and i need a replacement quickly, which i got on Bestbuy.com to pick up next day an hour drive away. During January 2025 this very hp envy with exact specs was being sold in wally store for OVER $860, while best buy was offering it at a bargain. I would recommend for daily home use. Love the off, dim and bright key pad light setting , it also auto shut off after few sec when not being used, but auto turn on once you touch any key. I have not watch movies or play games on it, but planning on doing some graphics projects soon. The battery after full charge, holds for hours. I have left it unplug for hours accidently and by morning it still has more than 50%. con: I personally wish HP newer computer comes with a number pad and a bigger screening without the $ K price and the power button not next to the delete button. I wish newer HP would also continue providing 3 usb ports so i can enjoy external speaker.

I needed a laptop for my virtual meetings and believe me this fits the bill, Crystal clear speakers and screeni. Couldn't ask for anything better. I'm still getting use to the touch screen , the tablet mode is a plus. what can I say I'm very impressed so far, So as far as I can say or suggest if you want everyday computer/laptop/tablet this is the one for you, lots of storage , windows 11 battery life is good Wish I could say more but I'm still learning the ropes on this .

The HP Envy is thin, lightweight, and versatile. With the 2 in 1 feature and touch screen, we are able to stand up the laptop for easy viewing and scrolling, or fold it back and use it like a tablet. The picture quality is very sharp and clear with beautiful color, and the sound is great. The speed is fast and it was easy to set up. We mostly use it for everyday tasks like surfing the internet, shopping online, Excel spreadsheets and Word. It also has the co-pilot feature, which we have not yet used, but are looking forward to trying it. Finally, we feel that we got a lot of great features for a great price!

Laptops works well from the start. I like the sound system on this HP laptop compared to other HPs I've gotten. Volume is loud and clear. Battery level is okay. Battery does not last as long as I would like, but the laptop does stay charge for a long while. Overall, I like this laptop very much and the packaging was nicely done. In the past, I've had 14" and 15.6" screen laptops. This laptop of 16" is incredible and seems large in itself. I love the screen size, nice and big.

Screensize, touch screen and speed of laptop exactly as expected and what I needed at time of purchase. Ability to download apps for use was seamless.
