I purchased this laptop months ago for my wife, and she still prefers to use her older i3 with a 15 1/2" screen. I will now tell you what I think. This laptop is more powerful than the average person out there, the i5 and 16 GB is very powerful. I purchased for myself and Envy 15.5", it lasted for over a year and then would not start. My opinion is based on being a 3rd party rep selling HP Laptops, yet it extends to every brand. An average person does not need to buy a computer like this. They will not help you out if this computer dies, and to repair is more expensive than buying a regular computer, which is exactly what I did, an HP 17", i3, 8 GB RAM, 256 SSD, for much cheaper. The Best Buy Rep that just told me they would not help me seemed shock. I do not believe in selling a more expensive computer to people than they need, and that includes an i7 Spectre that heats up and dies before it's time!

So far, so good, although I wish that I'd realized that it did not have a numbers pad. I really like the lighted keyboard and the keys seem to be a tad larger or maybe more raised, so my old fingers are managing typing better. Also, I like that the power button is in a location that is harder to accidently hit. I wish, too, that there were "flip-down thingies" to allow the laptop to be elevated slightly in the rear. Lighter weight than my last HP.

The laptop is fantastic. It does everything I need and it isn't laggy at all. The battery life is surprisingly very good. It's overall functionality and versatility make it worth the buy. Zero regrets.

The laptop performs as expected. I should probably give it five stars but my frustration with Windows 11 makes it difficult. Takes some time to undo a lot of the Windows 11 features. Perhaps enough negative feedback about 11 will help nudge computer suppliers and manufacturers to get Microsoft to stop trying to control every aspect of the user experience and let the user have more control. Yes im close to amatuer but not a total neophyte

Awesome laptop for a college student. My daughter loves it and so easy to share work or presentations with the flip screen

So far I love my laptop outside of the fact that within a few months of having it I can no longer access the internet on it. I have to take it to the geek squad.

Great computer for multitasking! The big screen makes it easy and the 16g ram makes it very smooth. Touch screen feels great and is a nice feature when needed. The speakers are very loud but are not clear at all, they’re also on the bottom so when it’s on fabric it’s very muffled, very disappointing as they raved about the speaker quality. The 2-in-1 is nice but using it as a touchscreen is difficult with its size. Major downsides are that the volume and brightness buttons seldom work properly so I hope to see an update there. Great otherwise!

Easy to navigate and get work done. The battery last a long time and is super easy to carry. Clear image on screen . Overall great laptop and I would recommend anyone to buy it.

I am so happy my old HP laptop gave out on me! If it didn’t then I wouldn’t have known about the envy but now that I have it, it’s so much easier to use for everyday tasks and runs much faster.

The laptop is wonderful, the battery time is good, and the screen quality is second to none. The weight of the device is very comfortable
