A few months now of heavy usage. I run a few Linux distros, plus the pre-installed Windows 11. I edit and render videos and a lot of graphics. The CPU is fabulous and handles everything, never makes me wait. The best is how well rounded is this config. CPU is fast enough, memory is 32 GB and the HDD is 2 TB. They have faster models but with less RAM - that cannot be upgraded. One big problem is local AI. Then the laptop performance is pathetic. There's nothing 'AI' in this CPU! AI requires Nvidia video card, period. On Linux, probably because the hardware is new, the wi-fi and the bluetooth turn off when the computer is idle and needs to be turned back on, manually. The screen is stunning - even if I choose the cheaper version. The laptop heats when busy, so I had to purchase an $10 cooling pad, with a couple fans that solved the problem. I also added two extra portable monitors, that made it a powerful - yet relatively mobile, workstation. So, 5 stars on Windows, except the local AI issue. 4 stars on Linux, for the wi-fi/bluetooth issue.

I love this computer. It's really fast, and I can get what I need done without issues. I mostly use this for editing photos, so I am uploading a ton at a time. Even doing that, it still runs smoothly if I choose to simultaneously do something else, like run Lightroom. I have also used this for Adobe Illustrator and no problems there with speed or anything. My brain is constantly scattered, so I can easily have 30 tabs open online and it doesn't change how smoothly it runs. It's a large computer, but it isn't obnoxiously heavy to carry around. The screen also isnt loose and floppy since it's a 2-in-1 and can be flipped. It's sturdy and solid. The battery lasts such a long time! When I expect to have to plug it in because Ive been using it for so long, then realize it's just at 53%, I am shocked! And it doesnt take a long time to fully charge, either. The screen is so bright and clear, too. I'd recommend this computer if you're willing to spend a decent amount of change for a solid laptop. One last thing: if you are the kind of person who takes extra precautions to protect your computer physically, just sharing that theres not many options for cases or covers for this specific laptop. General sleeves or zipup cases for a 16", yes, but if youre looking for something thats more fitting to the specific model, you probably won't find many, if any.

This is an excellent laptop - and the second convertible touch screen HP I've purchased since 2017. The resolution, memory, processor speed, and battery life are all great. And at the sale price I was able to get it was an excellent bargain as well.

I have this laptop for about two months now and is a great one. Great amount of SSD, RAM and System. The 16” screen is comfortable for me because I use it to online classes, great sound, and I didn’t find till right now something that makes me feel like it’s not worth it. One thing that I wish they think better before to moved it to the top of the keyboard is the “Home” and “End” keys, I don’t understand why they put them at the too of the keyboard if they normally are used to do tabulations in your sheets or writing notes, they did let the “down page” and “Up page” option with the arrows but they send these too keys to the top and is without any sense for me but, anyway, is still a great computer is just this little detail for me that I love to to my manual tabulation and now I have it a little more complicated.

Received the open-box laptop – it functions well. However, buyers please check open box item before taking them home!! The computer works great, but the screen isn't very bright, and I need to set it to maximum brightness to see it in sunlight. The battery life is excellent, though – I can easily use it for 8-10 hours. However, I don't believe it's in "good" condition. Overall, it appears to have been used for a long time (my 4-year-old laptop is in better cosmetic condition), and it wasn't well-cared for. Here are some details: 1. Scratches on the back of the laptop. 2. Two corners are damaged, with a visible gap (over 1mm) where the shape has changed. 3. The rubber feet are sticking up, and it looks like they've been cut, not just the glue loosening. 4. The body near the USB port is a little deformed (although it doesn't affect inserting USB devices). 5. There are scratches near the back cover screws, and it's obvious that someone has opened (or attempted to open) it. For these reasons, I disagree that this is in "good" condition; you can see it in the picture. I debated returning it, but I eventually kept it since it was a clearance item and a decent deal. So, I think Best Buy should think about how can you call this a "GOOD" condition...

The HP Envy 2-in-1 laptop has more speed and storage than I will need for quite some time. Pre-loaded with Windows 11, setup was a breeze and I was through setup and into working much faster than I expected.

Excellent computer for light-medium use. Good battery life, good sound and screen. I haven’t used much the touch screen but works pretty well.

After having this new laptop for almost 48 hours i could definitely tell its better than my old one, which you see with the old HP logo, which is 8 years old. Man, the screen is so much better. The audio is so much better. The only con, if not a full keyboard with the number keypad on the side. Instead, you have the number keypad on the strip. And it can definitely handle some game. I just finish playing American truck SIM. Wait, moderate settings.

I bought this laptop computer on the recommendation of the salesman at Best Buy and the truth is that it has been incredibly good. Works fast, which is why I got it. I hate Windows 11, which isn't a criticism of the computer but of the OS which isn't optional (bring back XP!). Camera doesn't work and I haven't found a solution to that. Web search says there's a switch but I don't have one. I've had it a few weeks and suddenly it doesn't power ON. It is getting power, but won't turn on. I'll need the Geek Squad to figure it out. So I am using my old laptop to write this, and all my files are on the ENVY but I can't access them. This is a major inconvenience. This was an open box purchase, and I hope there is nothing else wrong with it. Changing over computers is a PITA and I don't want to have to do it again anytime soon. Other than the fact that it doesn't work AT ALL, it's a good computer. I think. I'm giving it 4 stars because it worked great before it stopped working.

This HP laptop is what I have been looking for. It's sleek and convertible. When converting to a tablet, I have not been able to figure out how to keep from pushing the keyboard. I do like the speed on this laptop too. I'm learning about my new HP laptop, so I'm sure there is a lot of things I have not discovered yet.
