Bought this as a Black Friday deal and all I can say is WOW! A breeze to set-up and a breeze to print. I've never been so easily connected to a device and never so pleased with the quality and accessibility. Both of my kids even said WOW! A bargain price for a gold standard printer. We love it!

A very compact printer. Easy to install and print. Never had any issues in connecting from laptop or mobile. I has all the options like print, scan and copy which is very useful. Used for printing my personal & official document and also photos and never seen a smudge. I would recommend this without any second thought in mind.

I am very pleased with this printer. I just made 77 today and I installed it myself to my computer. I do a lot of researching and need an economical no nonsense printer for my work. The print is clean and sharp. Ink can be expensive which is a huge concern for me. It came with a supply of ink. If the color should run out first, it keeps printing in black. You then can choose not to do color or not. It will print in black if you want it to. I am extremely happy with this printer. The price was so good that I took out a four year warranty with it. I found this to be the best printer for my needs... I love it.

Best HP printer I've ever owned, so far...

I bought this to replace my HP Office Jet printer, which was a nightmare when loading paper into the back of this unit. It would constantly jam and you always had to find the sweet spot to get the paper to load. I tried to order an HP DeskJet Plus 4155 from Best Buy online, but it was unavailable. So I cancelled the order and headed to my local Best Buy to see what was in stock. The manager set me up with this printer, which I'm very happy with!! I already had the HP Smart app (it downloaded from the Microsoft Store) , and after installing the ink cartridges and paper in front (easy peasy), I was printing documents in like five minutes!! And best of all, it's more compact than the old printer, and it's black, which matches my laptop, monitor, and Mr Coffee machine...(You can't go wrong with basic black!)

Hard to setup.. needs HP ink

Easy to use. Hard to setup. 1- You MUST use the ink that came with it to set it up. I inserted some less costly Aftermarket cartridges to start with and it would not proceed with setup until I took them out and put the HP cartridges in. Now I have two opened Cartridges I had to put in a baggie... I dont know if it will even accept these without squawking.. 2- Setting up the wifi was a try and fail try and fail process, Downloading the required software and running it on my Win 10 PC gave me no indication of the status of the setup.. The printer just display some "trying to connect to WiFI" notice. I finally just CTRl-Alt_deleted the install app,and restarted the printer and it was connected. 3- Prints fine. 4- Is lightweight. 5- Was very inexpensive...

Very easy to use, a plus that I can use my phone as well. Quick and efficient, turns on and off very quickly. Print quality is really good. The software to print comes with everything you need and even a plus you can use their website to print free kids coloring sheets. Lightweight and compact, stores paper inside.

The HP ENVY 5070 printer is a great value for the money. Set up is a snap especially for the tech-savvy. The color output and resolution for scans is very solid for a printer at this price. Its smaller size is also great for those who are bereft of space for their computers and external devices.

I’ve only had it a few weeks. So far so good! Very responsive to jobs and commands. Operations are smooth. Setup was not a problem for me. Directions are straightforward. I bought it on sale for $37. I’m feeling like it is worth the $129 retail price. I am happy with the purchase.

This HP 3 in 1 printer is a compact size, easily installs and has a more detailed , user friendly touch screen pad. It is quieter and faster than a previous HP home printer. The price is a good value.

Good price during Black Friday flash sale! Fast printer and has WiFi! Got a nice responsive touch screen. Aftermarket replacement Ink is somewhat cheap. I like the hidden pull out paper tray, makes it compact and less bulky. Overall, this printer has a nice sleek design with all the bells and whistles built in!

Purchased this item for $40 when on sale and it was definitely worth the money. It has a quiet mode which makes it a bit quieter than the regular mode. Prints back and front of pages, color & b&w. Super easy to use with the app.

I have had this printer for about a month now and it works great! It was easy to set up but you do need to download the HP app first, it will save a lot of time. My printer is directly next to my desktop and router so I have no issues with Wi-Fi being too sparse so I can't comment to that. The small, fold up arm that catches the printed pages as they come out works very well, haven't had a page hit the floor yet. I have also used the scan feature along with the print feature and both work well. This also prints double sided which was very convenient when I needed to print out some legal forms. The pages looked like the originals. I'm very happy with this printer so far, however I only print every few days and so can't testify as to how it performs under heavy use.

We needed a wireless printer and this was so easy to set up and works simply for print docs from an iPhone or iPad. If you need a basic printer for just a random page or two now and then this will do the trick.

Got this at a great Black Friday price. It seems to be well worth the $35 I spent now that I got it set up properly, but I came very close to returning it. Here’s why: Followed the quick setup instructions, which rely on using a smart phone app. Got through the wifi set up, and then proceeded to set up Instant Ink. The Instant Ink sign-up page informed me that I need to enter a mailing address where ink cartridges would be shipped, but there was no place to enter an address. The bottom 80% of the page was completely blank. I assume the page was supposed to provide address entry fields and a “Next” button, but nope. I started over, but ran into exactly the same problem. At this point, I decided to try setting up the printer from my PC. I installed the “HP Smart” PC app and followed the prompts. This time everything appeared to progress smoothly. However, when I opened the Windows “Printers and scanners” control panel to add the printer to my list of devices and set it as the default printer, Windows was able to find the printer, but could not complete the configuration. I tried lots of different remedies, including switching from my 5 GHz wifi band to my 2.4 GHz band, but nothing worked. I spent about an hour trying to get Windows to recognize the printer, but no luck. Then, as if by magic, the printer suddenly appeared in my device list, although in an offline state. I spent another 30 minutes trying to get the printer into an online state, but again, nothing seemed to work. I was just about ready to give up, but then again, as if by magic, the printer suddenly was listed as “online”. I didn’t do anything to produce that result. My guess is that the printer communicates with servers at hp.com and spends a lot of time collecting info about your PC hardware, configuration, installed apps, usage stats, etc. and uploads this info to HP before the printer’s configuration can be completed. Now that the printer is online, it seems pretty good. Alignment was a breeze, and text comes out looking razor sharp. Haven’t printed any images yet, but my older HP Envy 5055 is almost identical to the 5070 and produces great-looking images. I’ll update this review if I run into any additional problems.

Short and compact. Great product. Fast. Not that quiet on quiet mode but quiet enough not to be super loud or loud. Fast. Easy to use. Set up was hard. Got it on Black Friday. Cant beat that price.
