Can’t say this model was easy to set up. No real help from instructions enclosed. Also trying to share between two operating systems was hard. Forget HP helping you. They will ask generic questions on what seems to be the problem AFTER you have set up. Oh well, I figured it out without their help. Just be ready for some aggravation. Afterwards, beautiful printing !!

It was a little difficult to connect to the HP Store to "install", but after we figured it out, it works well.

I like the way it automatically prints back to back. Also like paper tray.

It is great for smaller projects and I love this but larger projects it eats up ink

As printers go, it performs decently and responds fairly quickly to print requests. The print results so far have been crisp and clear, though I have yet to test the photo feature. My only criticism is that whoever designed the unit forgot to include an "off" switch so it has to be unplugged when not in use because the light which indicates that it is "on" burns continuously and lights up a darkened room making it somewhat difficult to sleep (my computer and printer reside in my bedroom). Also, the light that indicates the wi-fi connection blinks when the wi-fi is turned off (apparently the designer did not anticipate that you would ever turn it off). And I discovered after setting it up that it is only compatible with Windows 10 even though HP says there are drivers for Windows 7.

Small printer that doesn’t take up much room yet works efficiently. Double sided printing works effortlessly.

The Envy works well with Catalina. The print quality is excellent and the scan function is very good. It easily bests the older dedicated Canon scanner I used for 8 years in terms of speed. I have not tried printing photos or scanning photographs. For the price this is a no brainer.

Just finished setting printer up. Seems to be slower than the office jet I had. For the money can't complain.

Very satisfied with the quality of the prints. Setup was a peice of cake. Love the design too, the lighting above paper tray is my favorite part of the display

The printer is really slow even when physically connected to my computer. The quality is actually pretty good, but other than that I find myself having to wait sometimes 10 minutes just for it to print a bunch of names and their phone numbers. I'd recommend spending the extra money so it doesn't waste your time!

Working well so far! took a while to get the first set of replacement inks, but it works well.

SOOOO incredibly tired of the app not being able to connect my printer. SOOO incredibly tired of not being able to connect my printer with the printer. SOOO tired off being told to go to 123.hp.com (or whatever) to connect my printer. I've owned this $100 white plastic box for almost a year and have managed to get a half dozen things printed on it. Thanks HP.

Looking for a simple printer that can be used for business and personal. The customer service at Best Buy was very helpful.

I am happy with photos I have printed. The printer has gotten offline twice. I am in the instant ink deal. That seems to be a good deal. Overall I like the printer.
