Setup was a challenge for us. You need to connect to the internet in order to use it & you need paper so it can print the directions. Otherwise, it's really nice & easy to use once it's set up. We use it by connecting our devices to it wirelessly and it works great. We haven't used the scanner yet, but it has one.

Ive been owning this printer for a while now and haven’t had many issues. You will need to have an app on your phone/computer for when you want options when you print. I was subscribed to the hp ink service but eventually left since I really don’t print all that much. This printer is much better to me than an Epson.

Easy to use and small enough to fit about anywhere.

Printer was easy to setup, worked fine immediately. I like the wireless feature, I can print from anywhere in the house - without a cable. Unit is compact, much quiter than my old HP. Definitely recommend!

Simple, Straightforward setup, does the job. With Instant Ink, don't have to run to the store to get ink, its very quiet.

Nice printer for the money. Prints well and I like the double sided printing capability. Used wirelessly with my desktop PC using Windows 7 but it works okay with my wife's ipad too. Got an error at the end of the installation process but it seems to work okay. I miss a LCD display. This printer uses different color lights to denote conditions. Blue-white light on all the time in ready mode. I wonder how long before it burns out, and then what? Gives low paper warning with still 25 sheets in tray. Frequently loses communication with my PC. Suppose to be able to cut the printer off and back on to re-connect but pressing the power button does not cut it off. Have to unplug it and then re-plug. Annoying.

Needed Wifi home printer/scanner for occasional use plus high school student's virtual school needs that wasn't $200+ or large size. Using almost 1 month and happy so far. Have an HP laptop but can print from our iphones and MacBook. Easy set up thru app but still would like a screen/display of some sort on the printer itself. Good quality document printing, haven't printed photos on photo paper yet. Did sign up for the Instant Ink program - will see if it's cost effective but ink cartridges are not outrageously priced and can cancel program anytime. Wish it came in black to be unobtrusive.

We bought this printer for our 94 y/o mom. We needed something simple and easy to use from both a printing and copying perspective. This fit the bill. The ONLY drawback is that the power button is a little difficult to find and hard to know if you've hit it or not - for someone her age. I do recommend!
