I am done with pouring ink into reservoirs. Nothing but problems with clogs and cleaning to make it work. Went back to ink cartridges with his printer and glad I did. Quick and easy to use and set up. Papers loaded where it’s out of sight which I like as well. Best deal for he money.

So far so good…syncing computer to printer took a bit of trial and error but as sometimes happens it suddenly clicks in. The wireless aspect of printing is great. It is quiet and pretty light weight. I’m getting emails with usage tips that I have yet to explore.

This has been a great printer. I use it every day and love the quality of printing I get with it. I print hundreds of test for school and answer sheets. It also prints great pictures for my students projects. I would recommend it to anyone who prints a lot.

Set up through WiFi is a must, but after that can use the USB connection to do local printing (although it does say that the printer is in contact with someone all the time using the WiFi and this must be turned on and have on line access. I purchased this after purchasing a canon and returning it for lack of good software and terrible user interface. I have been using HP since forever, and I am comfortable in getting these printers. My goal for this is pure scanning and nothing major heavy duty stuff, and after I am done, will donate to goodwill. This printer is not designed for any major printing just looking at the miniature ink boxes makes me thing this is going to be a monthly trip to the store to get refills, but not in my case. I will be just using the scanner which is about the same quality, and if you have a bad photo, it will scan a bad photo... The higher the setting the slower it will scan, and this is to be expected with any of the scanners out there. The surface scan area is slightly larger then a standard notebook paper, so do not expect to scan any legal documents. There is no automatic feeder, so this is a one at a time scanning... But this is obvious from the picture. I can't write much about printing from cell phone, because I did not get this for that purpose. So far the software available from HP-Smart is a fair program to use, nothing fancy, but it does the job. During install this printer did bombard me to buy into different programs, and I just opted out of all of them. No need to pay 60 dollar warranty on a 90 dollar printer... come on! LOL If this scanner gets me through a year, I got my moneys worth and I will not be crying. So far it has performed as it was expected chugging along scanning pictures from the past, and images look on the monitor as they appear on the photo. This is all I was expecting and this is exactly what I received. I am satisfied

Replacement for one where glass broke. Took advantage of Geek Squad warranty. Glad to have had it. Only draw back is I had to get a different model as the original one was no longer available. The different model cost more money.
