In the specs section I saw 3.2 Gigahertz processor speed and bought this tower. When I came home I was excitingly setting it up and I just checked what are the specs in real. Guess what; it is 2.7 Gigahertz instead of 3.2. That was my decisive point on this purchase and now facing this. I wrote to Bestbuy customer support about it and they don't seem to be very sorry about it, he is now looking for another computer to replacement that is in the same price range and he mentoned that I will need to pay if he comes up with some computer that is more expensive than this. This is not what I was expecting from Bestbuy, even the brands you guess the best may turns out to be not as good as you think.

I bought the Open box to save some money but unfortunately it It comes without Wireless keyboard and optical mouse plus the tower itself has some dents on the front upside corners I'm gonna return this asap

The computer was freaky fast. However, when I went to download my software I could not get the DVD to work. The drive was not listed on "my computer" at all. It was non existent. Do not know if it was not physically connected or if it was missing a driver. I have no patience for new products that need service out of the box. Returned it bought a Dell from Costco. P.S. - I hate win 10. Sell me apps after I just spent how much for a computer.

I have always bought HP computers, on the average of one every year, laptops and PC's, this one here I had to take it in to the Geek Squad the second week I had it, (could not get it to respond to compatible programs), fixed? Anyway it worked there, bring it home two days later some more but not the same problem, remote fix? sort of then problem number one comes back. All in all that computer has been to Geek Squad 5 times, plus two remotes. I asked the tech at the counter about just getting a new computer as there was way too many problems for a new computer (sing I think he chose to ignore my comment). I have sent email's to HP, no response, I still don't know what I am going to do with a computer I feel will not last very long. I am going to check would I recommend to a friend as yes only because I feel that this is a lemon, as I have never had problems with HP before.

Terrible keyboard - changed location of keys and is flat so it eliminates the touch typing. Also you must press keys hard. The computer does not always boot up properly. Says it has no signal but my IT people tells me there is no problem with the connection. I would not recommend this product and am very sorry that I purchased same

After taking back a new HP Envy twice, I switched to a Dell product. I was unable to get my Monitor to come out of the sleep mode. The Desktop would but not the monitor. It was not the monitor that was the problem as it did this on other monitors the Geek Squad hooked it up to. Then I started researching on line and there was a lot of chatter about this same issue that others were experiencing. I have had HP computers in the past and was more than satisfied. Just not this one

Got new Hp Tower as old tower quit working. Not as fast as expected, freezes up. Dvd player is slower than old tower and don't like it on its side. Don't like Windows 10 at all. It is so controlling and seems like change just to change not to improve.Wife says it sucks. I'm going to put Windows 7 into new tower, bye bye Windows 10.

I spent 2 whole days with HP tech support in India about the machine. It kept dumping my wifi signal then not recognizing any wifi at all. After numerous resets of computer and HOURS of self-help blathering from tech support they sent me recovery discs to reset my computer to factory settings, update windows 10 again. All for nothing. It did the same exact thing again. Those are 2 whole days of my life I'll never get back. However, I became quite proficient in impersonating Indian speak! I returned it to Best Buy the next day..... I'm getting a Mac. Should have done that in the first place.... PCs are TERRIBLE anymore!

my hard drive has failed within 2 months and Best Buy won't do anything because we didn't buy an overpriced extended warranty because it was a brand new computer. How does a 2015 computer fail?! Plus before it failed it was glitchy and YouTube video wouldn't play. I've also used HP but never again. And for being a rewards member $10 for spending $1000 and then not having a way to correct the problem is not what I call customer service or a rewards program. This is bs.

The computer is fine but the Windows 10 crashed for no known reason and I lost all my pictures, documents, favorite places, etc. Avoid Windows 10 if at all possible, I had the same problem on my old PC when I upgraded to windows 10.

The computer was a new product, but the CD/DVD player was not working. Came with Windows 10 that was malfunction. Waste time going to the store several times, until they replaced it. Still not happy with the computer.

Easy set up however the screen repeatedly froze even after reboots. When I googled the problem, it was a very common problem with consumers. Best Buy was very helpful with the return.

This computer would freeze randomly right out of the box. Brought it in to geek squad and they told me the hard drive was bad. After looking at the other 1 star reviews on here, it would seem that this issue is not all that rare of an occurrence. Best Buy refunded my money and I bought a Lenovo instead, which works great.

Had to return first purchase and even second one not working... Cannot get wireless keyboard to communicate with any text input box in Windows 10 after log on with set up PIN

wish I had never bought it don't like windows 10 don't like the way you have to load cds don't know what I like about it should have repaired old one sorry

I can not believe the poor quality that HP is presenting to the public. This computer was slow. Could not run simple microsoft apps. And the optical drive stopped working within a couple weeks. It was a nightmare to use. My previous outdated HP was much better. HP obviously doesn't care about a quality product. They cheapened everything that they could on this piece of junk. They decided to use laptop RAM and inferior internal components. The happiest day that I had with this thing was the day I returned it to the store. Stay clear of this beast. it is terrible.

Had to send back twice. Would not power up, motherboard replaced one month later front USB ports not working sent back motherboard replaced again. Due to many hours on line and many days without my computer I do not have any faith that it will last a year let alone beyond that. I asked for a further warranty response from the last issue but no response. Do like it when it is working. Had it not failed twice I might have rated a 4 or 5 star.

We bought one, unpacked it and turned it on. Within a few hours had a bios error and could not use the PC. Exchanged it for another one and had the same problem. Returned it and would never buy another one. Not sure I'd even buy a different HP model.

This machine was pretty much unusable. It locked up due to conflicts between HP sleep management software and Windows sleep management. After removing the HP software it worked better for a little while, but then it wouldn't shut down properly and threw errors on shut down. After resolving those errors, it was back to locking up after a few minutes of use. Returned to the store and got a Lenovo instead.

I have had some bad issues with this computer. The first one had a hardware issue and had to be returned. The second one works ok but the preloaded windows 10 will not recognize my wireless. I returned it to best buy and they tell me that it works fine---NOT!,,,,, I tried to resolve with my cable company and with windows support who both tell me to return it to best buy. I am tired of boxing a new computer and returning it to the store to get nothing resolved
