I was worried about migrating to a new computer, as it's been a few years, but I couldn't be happier with this PC, and I'm super glad I finally bit the bullet. Windows 11 made the process easier, it was like Christmas morning when I turned it on (VERY easy transition).

Bought this on sale to replace a ten+ year old computer. With the SSD, it boots up almost instantaneously. My only complaint (and really it is just an inconvenience) is the lack of a dvd drive. That was easily solved with the purchase of an inexpensive external drive.

I don't play video games, so I can't comment on gaming. I just find it fast to go from one program to another. I do have a design program for a hobby that I have. Haven't had any issues of it freezing or losing my work. The ports on the front provide easy access.

My old computer was about to die. when i was shopping for a new desktop I had done a lot of research and this system met my needs. I did add more memory and ram because of what i do. even then it was cheaper than buying the next-up model or brand.

I like a desktop for an office set up. Supports a bit better posture, make me get a good chair. This one is powerful and does all I need it to... office apps, games, 'surfing, etc.

First time with SD instead of hard drive. Will never go back to hard drive. This thing is faster than fast, Love It. no issues. Thanks HP.

Happy with the system But no gup power for the Garhpics card I can not retrun Because I pulled the knockouts for the Graphics card whanted to run 4 monitors and not tack up space. Good desktop I am going to try a powered dock to run the monitors. I tried to see if there is a upgrade for power supply only found used PS so I gave up

this review is a bit old, but its been over 2 year now without a single hiccup. even now the ssd drive still only takes 35 seconds from completely shut down to awaiting a password (which includes pre-boot scans)

Overall, this is a great computer for the money. It’s definitely got speed and performance taken care of. There are only a couple of reasons why I made this a four-star rating instead of a five. The first issue is that the wireless card is only WiFi 5 instead of 6. Considering all other manufactures are providing WiFi 6 network cards. This is an area where HP is definitely behind the curve. The other reason is an issue with the sound card. HP has enabled an energy saver function on the integrated sound card that is built into the computer where if you do not touch the computer for 10 seconds the sound card will shut off. When you go to play some thing after it has gone to sleep, the first couple of seconds of the audio are clipped off. HP provides no options in any of their configurations software to disable this function. The only way I found to resolve. This was to download a piece of software that plays an audio sound that is in audible to the ear, but can be heard by the sound card and keeps it awake. Otherwise, this is a really good computer for the money especially when it goes on sale like it was when I purchased it during Labor Day weekend. Even with the few gripes I have, I can definitely recommend this computer.

So far I'm very satisfied with this HP desktop. It's very fast and perfect for my typical usage which includes internet use and printing documents. I would definitely recommend.

I have only had limited opportunity to use the new computer. However, I like the small footprint of the desktop. Its quickness in opening and performing various operations is a significant improvement over my previous machine.

I am pleased with this computer so far. It is very quiet, and rather fast as well. I immediately upgraded the RAM to 48Gb, which helps in my graphic applications. No complaints here. I would recommend it to all of my friends.

Open box purchase. Purchased for an adolescent who claims the computer performs exactly as he hoped it would. Its use beyond the general is for beginning/intermediate Blender, various audio software, Photoshop, Premiere, and whatever goofy games he plays.

I love my desktop. It is fast and if I did not need to use a laptop away from home I would stick with the desktop

Great desktop. Powerfull Speed and performance. Nowadays, 1TB of storage may be more than you may need and I would have peferred to get a 512 or less Storage, but this was the only one available.

Outstanding acquisition. I purchased this HP Envy to replace a similar device that was now 7 years old and whose 6th generation Pentium chip was too old to run Windows 11. With the newer 12th generation Pentium core i7, and all solid-state storage, my new HP is much faster and a pleasure to use. Sale price at Best Buy was the final thing that convinced me. Great value!

This computer still screams, very fast and o issues so far. This was the right choice for sure.

It was very easy to set up, but they should let you know that you need an external disk drive. Once your machine is on it guides you thru the setup and downloads files automatically from Icloud.

This desktop was recommended by a Best Buy technician and I am very happy with the product. I was partial to Dell having had several, but I am glad I purchased this solid state unit!

This is my 2nd HP computer tower with the same specs. I love the computer. It does everything I expect it to do and I would highly recommend. I am a Photoshop and Lightroom user and do mainly photo editing. It is great for that purpose. Microsoft is a problem in itself. My other HP computer crashed and was unrecoverable. It was only 2 years old. Since components change so rapidly, I decided to replace the unit. So was it a component of the unit (hard drive) or software (Microsoft)? Hard to really tell. Microsoft wants to own you and everything you do. Unfortunately unless you buy an Apple, you are stuck with Microsoft and have to learn how to work around their proprietary attitude. This new unit does not have a DVD drive, one thing that would definitely be nice to have. Since I also have an external DVD writer it was not an issue for me. I have given this a 5 star rating. You might wonder why I purchased exactly the same unit again. I am assuming, and hope I am right, that my problem with the last unit was software. Price was a factor and this unit met my requirements again. I hope it lasts beyond two years.
