Good Deal
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great system, nice and small for a desktop, fast, good memory and storage. Just wish it came with a DVD built in. There's a slot for one, but can't find one that will fit it from HP

Great if you don't have years of data to keep.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice machine. The off/on button it a little hard to find (kept in a large computer desk). Wish it had a larger ssd drive. I'd have liked at 2tb. Seems like I'd have gotten a gaming machine for that. I didn't need the keyboard and mouse. With as many machines as I've had I have plenty of these for any PC I get. I would have liked to have a DVD drive and at least one more USB-C port. One just isn't enough for today's standards. So far, the performance is good. It is pretty quiet which was important since my Alienware laptop was taking off for the universe. The price was nice. In the past I'd go towards the higher end machines but since I've retired I decided less expensive.

HP does it again!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my mom and dad for their small office. I was able to set up this computer for them with no issues right out of the box. They have to make reports for work, check work emails, and light streaming and this desktop is able to handle all of the work they need with ease and is fast. Windows 11 is an upgrade from their old computer which ran Windows 7. The keyboard and mouse are wired which they prefer over charging or using batteries. The keyboard keys are labeled well with bigger letters that my they can see clearly. Another useful feature is the front has all the ports to plug in your phone and flash drives. You do not have to reach around the back and try to plug in things. Overall, I think this desktop is great for home/ small office use. Im sure its capabale of more heavy duty work loads, but for what they need it and most homes would use it for, its perfect.

Envy Desktop Intel Core i7 rocks for everyday use!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this desktop to replace my 5-year old all-in-one HP. I am very pleased with it. I am not a computer qeek but in my opinion, it is quick, responsive, has plenty of storage - couldn't be happier. I can switch applications in a flash, and the tower handles it all very easily. I use it for everyday home use, and working from home everyday for my job. I can toggle back and forth from my office connection to my private connection in less than a heartbeat. I don't necessarily care for the generic-type keyboard and mouse that comes with the tower (both wireless) and have not replaced them yet, but I am sure we will have no problems doing so. After having two all-in-one desktop computers for the past ten years, I will never go back to that setup again. Once it crashes, you have nothing. I am very happy with the Envy and my 27" Samsung monitor. I totally recommend the Envy as a great everday workhorse and entertainment product.

Great machine and I love HP products
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this 3 wks ago when it was on sale for $799 at the time there were only 3 reviews so it was brand new on the market. One of the reviews was not good (all kinds of specs and pictures inside the machine, mostly for geeks, he was looking for a problem and created one) however I love the computer. It is very, very fast. I'm getting familiar with Windows 11 and prefer 10 but I'm sure once my brain makes the switch I will love 11. I started 32 years ago and am self-taught from hardware to software. Windows 3.1 had just come out and all of the guys I knew were still using DOS commands and complaining about Windows. My first build had 4 mg of ram and an 89-megabit hard drive (I was told I would never, ever, never fill it up) and it was top of the line. ($1500) At that time you couldn't walk into a store and buy this off the shelf, you had to have someone build it for you which I did. The keyboard and mouse are cheap but I knew that already and purchased a Logitech combo. No CD or DVD burner and I knew that as well because I read the specs. Overall this is the fastest machine I have ever had. It is replacing a laptop i5 7200 and I had already upgraded it to a ssd. THis is the 4th HP computer in 15 years.

Wow! A really good and affordable desktop computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this from Best Buy about a week ago, and so far I am very happy with it. It is such a great improvement over the 11 year old desktop that I had been using. It's fast, quiet, easy to use, and appears to be reliable (which I will judge better after I've had it longer). I've always had good luck with HP products. I did purchase this on sale, which made it a better deal. $799.99 rather than $999.99. I need to put in a good word for the Geek Squad. At my request, they installed for me an extra 2TB of SSD (I paid for the hardware, and they installed it for free because I have a Best Buy/Geek Squad membership). The Geek Squad also transferred all files from my old computer to the new computer. They did fantastic work. All in all, I am very happy with this new desktop computer, and I am very pleased with the Geek Squad and Best BUy.

Desktop review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am enjoying the upgrade from what I previously had. Excellent speed, small, & user friendly. I am currently running my accounting, Excel, Word, & John Deere Operations Center software. I would highly recommend this desktop to anyone. The people at Best Buy were easy to deal with and very courteous. I will be looking to upgrade other equipment with Best Buy.

Replaced my fried computer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaces my older Dell desktop computer that was fried by a series of power outages. It is much faster, takes up less desktop space and is noticeably quieter than the Dell. What I really appreciate in this purchase is the work done by the Geek Squad to provide me with the files from the hard drive of my original computer so that there was no loss of data in the transfer to the HP. Thank you Geek Squad.

Great computer to use for remote work and studies.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer has great speed and memory. My daughter uses it to record music and do voiceovers. She also works from home, and the computer still moves fast with multiple high energy apps running. It is a great value for the money. My daughter did mention that it isn't good for playing Roblox (it can be played on the computer, but it isn't a 'gaming' computer), but she does play other low-definition games. Overall, this computer is great for remote work and school.

Good computer

Another HP for me.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. Fast, reliable. I have owned HP desktops for almost 30 years. Won’t buy another brand. Excellent quality. Smaller in size. Takes up less space. Right out of box I switched out 1 TB for 2 TB SSD. I wanted to add a 2 to factory installed 1 TB, but didn’t have another slot to do that. Only disadvantage.

Great Dependable Home Computer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to replace a custom build computer that I had for at least 10 years. Since I use an HP at work I thought it would be a solid dependable choice. I’m very impressed with this system. My kids use it for gaming and I use it for everything else. I happened to get an open box deal that was difficult to pass up. The i7 cpu, 16GB memory, and 1TB hard drive make this a solid system for most uses. The only thing that could be better is the built in graphics card which will work fine with most any use but it’s not top quality and you would need to replace the motherboard in order to upgrade. The memory and hard drive however are upgradable. For the money (on sale and open box), this was a fantastic deal, almost $300 off.

HP Envy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tower is smaller than my pervious on and therefore takes up less real estate on my desk. it is very quiet running so that is a plus. Easy to setup. I added extra RAM to bring it to its max for the limited gaming that I do. All in all, it seems to be solid performer.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Desktop is perfect for work! Runs fast and smooth with the i7. I really like that it's not so bulky and doesn't take up much space at all. Very quiet, no noise really. If you are looking for something for business or office work related, this is a great choice!

Quick and Easy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the PC along with Office 365 to do a total refresh from last desktop (Win 10/Office 2016). Ordered online and went to store when item was ready. Very quick/easy process. When I finally had the time, I unboxed and swapped out PCs. Set-up was very simple and with most items already located in the "cloud", access to things was not an issue. From powering up to loading Norton 360/Utilities and getting latest updates, it was roughly an hours. This machine is lightyears ahead of my old Pavilion i3-8100. As for the Office 365 install, that's for another review. Glad I moved up to this machine

Fast computer, very pleased with this purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For speed, memory capacity, ease of setup, and design 5 stars. A strong computer for the price. Be aware if you use dual monitors - the standard graphics card supports HDMI but the second output is only VGA. Strange, for me an unnecessary complication. I matched the VGA output to my oldest monitor, 27", and it looks fine. A card upgrade was expensive, and I don't think should have been necessary. I've not tested user support. Experienced user, mainly office apps, databases, and associated sites.
