Customers are saying

Customers regard the Envy Desktop as an excellent value, particularly praising its performance, ease of use, and reasonable price. Many appreciate the ample RAM and storage, along with its quiet operation and compact size. However, some users noted the absence of a DVD drive and limitations with the graphics card and power supply. A few also mentioned concerns about boot times and monitor support capabilities.

Needed better computer for Adobe products, Photoshop and Lightroom primarily. 5 yrs old laptop couldn't run both and couldn't make upgrades needed. This computer doesn't have any problems with them although I will add some memory and already added a hdd for photo storage.

Portable quick setup. Very fast startup and moves quickly around the net. Certainly not a gaming unit but not what intended for. For general purposes, video intermediate gaming and graphics, exceeded expectations. Would recomend.

Great Product! Super easy to set up and so far very smooth running! The quality of this item is good for the intended use (Work desktop computer). I can tell the components used could be of greater quality but for this price you are getting more than what you are paying for. 9/10 recommend.

This computer is fantastic. It was easy to set up and easy to use. It has tons of memory (that I will probably never use but nice to know it is there) and will meet all my needs. Plus Best Buy was running a sale so I received a little money off the original price. Great job HP!!

Quite and fast. I usually am a Pavilliin guy, but the Envy has a different feel. My only wish is that it had a CD/DVD drive. I did purchase one because I have some super great software that still works with Windows 11. What a great machine so far. Super fast set up. Fast start up, too. I like the style. I don't like the new white color on the Pavillion now. HP has always been a reliable brand for me. I am 66 years old and all my home computers have been HP since AOL and the DOS operating system. I only owned 4 desktops and one laptop. This is my 5th desktop and I have enjoyed and loved every one of them!

The computer came with the latest windows. It is fast to boot up and use. The only thing i dont like is windows, but its not the computer that is the issue. Other than that, it would have been nice if the faster usb ports were in front of the unit instead of the back, in case of using a jump drive. There is no dvd slot, so make sure you have jump drives to transfering things. Im not using the wireless mouse and keyboard it came with, so i cant speak to those. I did use them in store and they were fine, except the mouse is not ergonomic. I bought this for the computer itself and I'm happy with it.

Computer was very easy to set up. It runs my photo editing and other software easily without slowing down. It was definitely one of the smoothest transitions I've had to a new computer.

This PC works very well and it's fast. I had purchased one of these, then others in the office suddenly also had "slow and old computers", I wound up getting four total. The only bummer would be that at work we use two monitors, and this only has one HDMI port on the video output and one VGA port. It goes without saying that the VGA image is not as sharp. So, I will most likely need to purchase a video card to solve that issue. An added bonus is the keyboard that comes with is very nice. I would recommend this computer.

I am still getting used to this computer. It has Windows 11 which I have mixed feelings about however the computer works very well. First desktop I have owned with an SSD and it is amazing how much faster it operates. Plenty of memory and storage space. Very happy with this unit so far. The keyboard and mouse do what they are supposed to however they are a bit underwhelming but I can change those out easily. I purchased as an open box item and thus a better price and unit was essentially brand new. All in all I am pleased and would repurchase.

My old Dell XPS was past its prime. New Dell prices were too inflated for my budget, so I took a chance with HP. This HP Envy desktop exceeded my expectations and is quite fast and even works well with Photoshop.

My HP Envy Desktop arrived promptly, and the setup was relatively simple. The mini tower is somewhat smaller than my 14 year old PC that finally died, and much lighter. It came with a wireless mouse and keyboard. While they function perfectly, I chose to continue to use my old wireless keyboard and mouse because of my familiarity with their touch and feel. The processor is a current, high-power Intel CPU which more than meets my needs. The 1 TB internal solid state drive is lightning fast - much faster than my old SATA SSD drives, and offers plenty of storage right out of the box. I did salvage my old SSD drives from my old PC and am using them for even more storage inside the spacious case. There are plenty of high-speed USB ports on the front and rear of the case. The Intel CPU powered graphics work great with my 28", 4K monitor, utilizing its full resolution at 60 Hz refresh rate. My only minor complaint is that I have difficulty seeing the power on switch on the front of the case when the PC is not on. I have my PC located in the chair well under my desk, which is a dark area. If the power switch button was white, I would be able to see it much more easily. Overall, I'm very impressed with the speed and performance of this unit. The fact that it came with very little bloatware is also a plus. It is not meant to be a gaming PC out of the box, but there is enough expansion room for select video cards if I would ever want to get more into high end gaming. There is also an empty memory slot that allows for upgrading the current 16GB of RAM. As a retired IT Manager, I spent quite a lot of time researching before deciding on this unit. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent desk top. Very fast in terms of response time. It is much better than my old HP Desktop which is an Intel Core I3. Window 11 operation system is a big improvement over Window 10. Worth the money spent. Highly recommended,

Envy desktop is easy to set up and super fast. I also like the feel of the keyboard. I purchased it for full price of $1000 but was able to get a $200 refund from BestBuy when it went on sale the day after I picked it up.

Overall this is a great rig for everything except gaming. If you want to game or do anything that requires rendering, you'll want to go with the option that has the higher end GPU. If not, you'll be stuck trying to upgrade the power supply, heat sink, and gpu. Other than that, it works very quickly and extremely quietly.

Easy pick up at Best Buy. Easy set up. Plenty of well placed jacks, front and back. I'm not a PC gamer, but its blazing fast for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, web browsing with multiple tabs open, YouTube, music, picture and video editing, Zoom calls for work, etc. Much faster than my old i5-8GB. Accomodates my dual monitors. I like the Windows 11 upgrade. Lightweight. Runs cool and quiet. Would recommend. Watch for periodic sales where price goes down by $200; a real bargain.
