Very good product for the price. Nice and compact. Easy to use once set up. LOVE the ink offer and that I will never have to remember to buy ink again as it will come to me. Just had a few minor problems trying to sync with my laptop, but that could be me. Otherwise, so grateful to Best Buy for having it available curb-side during this pandemic.

This printer has been working great so far. The wifi printing has worked wonderfully from every gadget we have. We also have the ink refill which is nice, so we haven't had to buy new ink. Set up was relatively easy, but I would have preferred a manual with more detailed instructions. Haven't printed pictures yet, but all other things have printed great. I recommend this for anyone at home.

My old HP printer would not print black ink any longer. Don't print as much since I retired and print head clogged. Tired to fix with out success. Did not like the idea of only 2 cartridges but found the new set up the print heads are part of the cartridge and are new on each replacement. Quality of print and pictures is good for me. Trying the Instant ink program, we'll see how that goes. Just realize you are paying for pages printed not new ink. Using my circumstance I think it will be a better deal than buying new ink when I run out. Only negative I have is the touch screen it a bit small compared to my old HP and difficult to hit the proper icon to change function.

This is a great printer very easy to set up. The print quality is very good. I'm having a hard time finding the replacement ink cartridges. Looks like I might have to use HP Instant Ink.

priced fairly at store. best part is how simple, quick and no frustration to getting the printer up and running. does a great job of printing text. printing color photos is also notably good. Only negative is that having 3-in-1 color cartridges is definitely not desirable, especially since entire cartridge needs to be replaced if one color gets low/emptied.

We started out unable to set this printer up because it gave us the "Do not use set up cartridges" error. That leaves one helpless. HP support recommended that we just return the printer and get a replacement. Best Buy was quick to do so without any reservation. I appreciate that. The second one did set-up without a hitch. I am not a fan of having to use an app to get it connected to my computer because I do not have a smart phone. However, the manual configuration worked. Although we've only had it a few days, we are pleased with the print speed and quality so far.

Needed a wireless printer for personal and now for work. Sales person and Best Buy suggested this one. Easy to setup, works great, no issues. Have printed from my phone with no issues, laptop no issues. Price was more than I wanted to spend but considering I have had no issues I can't complain. Only been using this for a month but no problems as of yet.

This was bought to replace a previous generation HP Envy 4500 printer which started to display error codes after a power loss at the outlet. Like others in the Envy line it's relatively compact, a feature I need since the space it sits in is small. It loses few features to the size constraints, particularly for home use where a document feeder isn't usually critical. My printing/scanning needs are limited but it is useful to have. Setup was easy; 'HP Smart' apps for Windows 10 or Android (I assume also Apple) detect the printer quickly and allow management through the respective apps. A USB printer cable is needed to connect at least once to set up a wireless connection to your router (alas, not included in the box). Print speed is improved from the older model and print quality is good. The biggest con would have to be the price of ink cartridges. A pair of starter cartridges come in the box, but a set of HP 64XL black and color cartridges bought in the same order cost as much combined as the printer itself at the time of purchase. Unfortunately it's hard to find a modern printer for which ink is economical.

I replaced an Epson printer I'd used for about 10 years. It was getting inconsistent with on/off issues. This is a higher model number and newer so I raised my expectations. The price was a big factor as this was less expensive than most multicolor, multifunction printers. I've printed about 300 pages ranging from purely text to high color content pages. I have only printed one photo. Everything has printed with excellent quality. The paper feeder capacity is adequate for my needs and the led instruction panel is intuitive. It looks good on my desk and the simple lid allows me to use it as a shelf most the time (I rarely scan or copy) which is better than the printers with paper feeders on top. I did sign up for Epson's "Instant Ink" option in a trial period. I'll not likely continue that option as I print so few pages on most days, then a large volume (over 100 pages) once in a while. Be aware that when you get ink cartridges that start out on the instant ink program, they'll become disabled once you hit prescribed limits. I don't know how difficult it is to leave the trial period. Will find out once I get there...hopefully it isn't like Hotel California where I can check out, but never leave.

I've only purchased HP printers and they hadn't let me down yet. I like this one because set up as really easy, and everyone can picture from their laptop or phones wireless. Pictures print out great and colorful. Only thing I miss now is having a feeder when trying to make copies of things. But all in all nice printer

We really appreciated the assistance of the sales associate at Best Buy. He was very helpful! The HP Envy printer is printing nicely. It was easy to install and is even easier to use than my old HP printer (which I really liked). For the most part, the printing is very good. One picture, however, where my son was wearing an all black shirt, had faint lines going through the shirt. The rest turned out fine, though. One thing that could be improved upon would be for the printer to hold more photo paper at once. In the future, when it is time to purchase another printer, will I buy another HP? Yes! I have been very pleased with HP products!

Great printer - does all that advertised plus very easy to set up. I had bought a different printer and had to return as impossible to set up. Great quality print and quiet. Like the fact that only has two cartridges- one for black and one for color.

This was a huge update in the printer department for me. (Never had a wireless one.) But despite feeling daunted by the task of setting it up, it was relatively easy and I have not had any issues with it since. I love it and definitely recommend especially for the price!

The Envy 7100 does a fine job copying, scanning, and printing. It has a small footprint, so it takes up very little table space.
