Crappy printers don’t work

Good but some issues.

Instructions could be better, especially for people that aren't too technically inclined. Once it was connecting to our laptops it worked fine.

Cannot use remanufactured ink cartridges

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer January 2023, although not recommended, I was able to save the high cost of HP ink cartridges by using off brand cartridges. The HP company monitors your printer. Fast forward October 2024, despite putting new ink cartridges in, it will not now allow me to print unless using genuine HP cartridges. And beware of signing up for their paper subscription. I went over the paper I signed up for, the charge to my account was astronomical. They knew exactly how much paper I used!! I felt like I had big brother spyware monitoring my printer. Out of principle, I bought a new printer, a Canon to replace this rip off machine.
