Well it's dead after only a few months. Started with a paper jams and followed by not powering on. No paper is stuck the power is fine. This is printer went in the trash and I'll never TRUST a bestbuy associate again on printer recommendations.

I contacted HP support, and after trying every reset, update, and troubleshooting it still won't work. Mind you it was only just used at home for my kids school work and things like that. It was not heavily used. They said it was a system malfunction and I need to buy a new printer. The 1 year warranty just expired. I do not recommend this printer at all.

Have to love the new compact design of this unit, it is a pleasant contrast in comparison to previous designs while maintaining the document feeder and flat bed scanning options. Moreover, the printer supports 2 sides printing which was especially important to minimize the amount of paper used when printing large documents.
