I am a tech professional and could not set this up due to terrible instructions and it requires a PASSWORD to get it connected to the app??? Nowhere does it mention a PW or how to retrieve a PW! Most stupid setup ever! Went online to search and there is a SECRET process to get printer to print PW but of course THAT DID NOT WORK!!! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED IN HP! All other HP products IN PAST were great. Now this makes me leery of purchasing ANY NEW HP products.

A Nice Workable Printer

Unfortunately I am not a fan of requiring of the app (HP Smart) to set it up. I prefer the ability to do the setup at the printer. Also for some reason the app would not download to the main computer that was going to use the printer. This resulted in having to download on a smart phone and the bypassing the wireless connection with a cable in order to perform scans. The error when trying download the app said there was no internet connection. So that was less than useless as to get to the app store required an internet connection. Spent too much time to get it to download and finally gave up on that computer.

I think they need more button options. It was difficult to figure it out when I first bought it. Everything is done through online or the app to scan and things like that. Must be good with technology.

I’ve had problems with wireless connectivity on other printers but have not had a problem with this one. I am very happy with my purchase.

This printer does not easily show what is wrong with it at the time and how to correct it without having to look it up.
