I was hoping for something better from Hp. I had my Envy7640 for over 5 years and the only reason I could no longer use it was because the software was no longer supported.
The things I don’t about this model are the limited functionality/lack of buttons on the printer itself, the few sheets you can add to the tray and the huge amount of ink it uses.
I can’t honestly give much positive feedback on this model other than it does connect to my Bluetooth products and makes copies. I don’t anticipate being able to justify spending so much money on ink so I’ll probably be replacing this model in the near future and putting it in the closet for emergency use.

It’s easy to see why this would be a great disappointment, especially considering the good performance of your previous ENVY printer. I want to help you remedy what problems you can, so I’ll provide some information and resources aimed at making that happen.
First, I can’t tell from your review how long you’ve had the printer, how many pages you got from the cartridges, and whether those cartridges were the ones that came with the device or ones you bought from a retail source. I can’t say for certain what’s happened in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges. These have lesser capacities than regular or XL replacement cartridges. The XL size cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 200 to 240 pages, while the regular sizes have estimated yields of 100 to 120 pages. If your results are dramatically different, please see the contact information below.
Beyond that, here are some things you can consider: - If it appears that a cartridge was low on ink to begin with, or that the poor page yield was caused by a defective cartridge, I recommend that you contact the seller who sold you the items. - Contact us if the supplies are defective genuine cartridges that are not replaced by the vendor (and they are still within their “warranty ends” date). The HP - Envy 6455e is not a consistent product. It has to be reconnected every single day. It has never made it through the night staying connected.

What I like most about my printer is being able to print from my cell phone. Since my lap top crashed I’ve felt lost for printing what I needed. Until I’m ABLE to buy a new laptop printing this way WORKS!
