Customers enjoy the ENVY Pro 6455's high-quality prints and ease of use, frequently praising its compact size and straightforward setup. However, some users experienced connectivity issues, and the lack of a display screen was also a point of concern for several customers. Positive feedback also centered around the printer's quiet operation and reasonable price.

Trouble with printing process, it was necessary to disconnect printer cord and reconnect cord after each print job. Not cool.

Hi, Fred.
I’m sorry that your printer has performed unreliably. It’s no surprise you’re frustrated here, considering you’ve needed to disconnect and reconnect the device between each print job. I want to help you remedy this problem, so I’ll provide some resources I hope will lead you to that end.
First, if you’ve not done so already, I recommend that you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various tasks and issues, including wireless connectivity and printer-offline difficulties, which I suspect might play a role here. If not, then on the same page, you’ll find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning difficulties. You can find the page here: - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If the problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find a solution. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

Exchange this for the Epson… Epson was actually worse. This was not heavy duty enough.

This printer will take some time to get used to. We had a bigger unit previously, which held more paper. However, our needs have changed and this HP Envy fits fine for now.

Nice, inexpensive printer. Did not come with driver software, but the latest Apple update recognized it anyway. Black ink cartridge only latest 50 pages before replacement.

I have been using HP printers since the original B/W Deskjet and this is by far the worse printer I have ever used or owned. It isn’t even close to being user friendly. I don’t recommend this printer at all.

First of all, I got this printer to replace the HP Envy 4520. Which I had for years. It finally wouldn't print and was printing the same pages over and over. That printer gave me trouble to set up wirelessly and would not scan but finally got the wireless to work. Worked great after that. Enjoyed printing from our phones at anytime. I need a printer for online school (due to covid) so being that I needed one ASAP I decided to get the same HP Envy but what was said to be the upgrade to the one I had. I liked the look of it and seen reviews of hard set up but thought maybe it wouldn't happen to me again. NOPE! After I got it today and opened the box I discovered this box was previously owned and returned. The ink packages were opened and the tape covering it was off. The Styrofoam was broken also. So, I thought ok cross my fingers. It would not set up wirelessly. Had to use a USB I happened to have. So got that part set up I think and it tells me to set up the Instant ink (which I love this) and it tell me the paper tray is open. I opened and closed it over and over and nothing. It tells me to press the i button on the touch pad thing and all the buttons will light up. No, it did not. The paper tray seems to be snagged to close smoothly but does close but not for the printer to continue. I'm so frustrated I want to pull my hair out! I need this in the morning to print my kids packets for class. So now what?! So Disappointed.

Hi there.
I am so sorry to hear that you received what sounds like a used printer. I can imagine how disappointing and disconcerting this must have been, so I want to make sure that I provide information to help you make it right.
First, I can’t say for sure what happened in your situation, but as you’ve already speculated, what you describe can occur when a printer is sold, returned to the seller, then sold again to a different buyer without being adequately inspected before shipment. Because you expected to receive a new printer with all the necessary components, I recommend you contact the seller to address this promptly. You can find the seller by scrolling to the bottom of the Best Buy website and clicking Orders & Returns.
If you need any technical assistance, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number - Serial number - Your location - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

It works...until you run out of ink. I tried to put new ink in it and it just wouldn't accept it. I tried 4 different cartridges from four different places. I brought it in to have it looked at and the "geek squad" guy said "we don't fix printers, get a new one". What a joke.
