I've learned to just keep it on 24/7 because if I turn it off and then turn it back on when I want to use it it'll give me a hard time. Every time is a different issue. Right now it says it's out of ink when it's not! It keeps saying it only accepts HP ink when that's all I get!! Don't recommend it. It has other nice features like scanning and the app, but honestly not worth the headaches it gives.

It will also print on both sides of the page. I also do the ink deal , when it gets low the printer knows and they mail me more ink… pretty cool. I go a few months not needing any ink and then when I need it, it’s in the mailbox before I run out. To sign up the papers are in the box when you open it to get the printer out.

Ink price is much less than my previous HP. cons: you have to open the app to print/scan. My desk-jet had a screen on the printer to do that. Wifi connection is not always good and there is no cable to connect directly to computer. I would not have bought if I realized that.

I’m not happy that I have to pay for subscription in order to print. That’s the only downside and why I gave it a four. But it’s a great printer.

It fits easily under her desk and takes up very little space. It is surprisingly fast for such a small machine, easy to set up and no problems with it so far. Great for the price.
