A worthless piece to artist who need to reduce and enlarge.
I never heard of a printer not doing this.

Once set up, the printer worked well.
However, set-up was frustrating and took much longer than I expected. I had problems with the HP app "finding" the printer on my network.

This printer is PERPETUALLY offline. Mid way through the work day it will give you issues, randomly be off the wifi even when your other devices are running just fine on the same wifi network... a mess. Its been 2 weeks and I'm already thinking of returning it. Not worth it if you need something reliable, I'd go with something else.

Waited forever to get this printer for my wife. I've been pretty interested in the the new HP Smart app that connects all devices to newer HP printers. So I thought this printer would be a awesome!
However, When I got it I noticed that there were no physical buttons and is only use able through the HP Smart app. A bad app that take forever to set anything up. During the setup process, my printer was doing a light show of colors. It took me hours to figure out what was going on. Turns out it was a critical error. Yay.

Easy set up. Unbox the printer, plug it in, download the HP app, and there are step-by-step instructions which walk you perfectly through from start to finish, with extremely helpful pictures on the app. My favorite positives about this printer: it prints pages quickly, it’s relatively quiet (for a printer!), it has a paper tray on the bottom for feeding in the paper that closes (versus the typical slanted feeder always exposed on the back), it has automatic double-sided printing (no trying to flip printed pages manually and orient them correctly to get double sided pages), and pleasant chime sounds which signal when the printer is ready/done printing, etc. along with subtle lighting which also signals the printer status; the automatic feeder is great as well. The Wi-Fi connection is strong, connects fast, and stays connected; I tried it with our laptops, tablets, smartphones, and desktop computer. Scanning and copying also worked well (I haven’t tried faxing yet, but the information/directions say it is a feature).
I did set up and activate the HP+ feature; it gives you 6 months’ worth of free ink and automatically sends you a new supply of ink when it detects you’re running low. I’m interested to see how well this feature works. The caveat is that you do have to set up an account with HP (with your email address, physical home address, phone number, and a credit card) so that they can send you the ink but you can opt out of getting targeted “offers” and such to your email, and you can cancel at any time, such as when your 6 months of free ink are over, if you decide you don’t like the service. You can also adjust how much ink you get delivered; there are different plans depending on your individual needs that are at different price points.

It’s ok - my last model was better at scanning with the document feeder. The document feeder on this newer model is weak.
The color is not bad but it is slow to complete tasks.
