Print quality is not great, especially for photos on photo paper. The HP Envy I bought on Black Friday a few years ago for $15 printed much better, seriously. And this unit won't print half the time when connected over Wi-Fi. It's so frustrating. I finally tried Wi-Fi direct printing, which seems to be only solution for reliable printing. Not happy. Oh, and the $15 printer, also had a screen. This one doesn't. Quit being cheap HP.

I was concerned that setup might be a challenge, but despite my technological ineptness it was very easy. Makes nice clean copies, scanner works great and it prints just like a printer should.

Once I figured out how to install it, the printing was very sharp and clear. Not being for computer smart, it took a while to install.

I have purchased this HP printer and has been great use with no problems. I have not ran into any problems since I have purchased this. It is worth your time and money for personal and school purposes!

This printer is not wireless. It uses a USB printer type cable for data. It uses wireless for internet. You have to have both and they do not supply the USB cable. All HP Printers have serious problems. We used to OEM them at Shimadzu Scientific Instruments. You have to unplug the power cord every time you start your PC. Even our IT department, best in world, has times where nothing works and they will not print. Clear everything, unplug printer, restart PC, does not connect. The software "HP Smart" is the worst working broken software I have ever seen. It always picks wrong printer....It will shut down the printer when the black ink gets what they call low, 60+%. All HP Smart is programmed to do is sell you consumables and it makes all the decisions when it shuts you down. You have no input. This morning I'm at my wits end and tossing in the Rockville Garbage bin. Nightmare.

Prints/copies very well. No problem setting up and connecting to my computer.

Love it! Beautiful and Effective. I love the blue light for the printing tray, and the free 6 months of ink was a great bonus. Will probably sign up for the Instant Ink for $3.99 a month.

We had a dud the first time we purchased this printer. We returned it and got a replacement from Best Buy which has been working great and we have had zero issues with the quality and reliability of the prints. We have been using it for pictures and flash cards and it has no problems changing paper type and size as well as preventing any smears. My only complaint is that there is no real interface on the printer you have to use the HP Smart app on your phone or computer to access all the options.

Miss having all controls on the printer including a keypad. This Envy is totally internet and computer/phone controlled. I'm not used to that so, a bit of a learning curve. Print quality is excellent. Simpler two cartridge set up. Compact footprint compared to the HP 8610

excellent quality for a reasonable price. Fits in a small space with retractable drawers. Was guided by a knowledgeable technician who matched the printed with my needs

This printer is so easy to use. The wireless connection works perfectly and has never hung up. Prints great, photos look professional. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a really great little printer. Easy to load and print quality is excellent. The six months of free ink was a wonderful surprise and a bonus very much appreciated. Good size.
