Fast. Compact. Easy to connect. One negative is the on/off switch is poorly located. It is in the back next to the power cord. I have to pull the printer almost off the shelf to reach the switch. I hope it last longer than the one year my previous HP printer lasted. No need to buy a 4 year warranty. Nobody fixes printers. Just send a replacement and you pay the price increase.

Love, love, love this printer! I have had it, now, for a couple months and have never had any issues with the Scan (my former printer frequently seemed to lose it's mind and wouldn't let me scan!). This printer was so easy to set up and connect to my laptop. Love the quality of the print too.

I am not a "techi" so it was a challenge for me to set it up. but I did the step by step directions and succeeded. I am very pleased with it. The copies are of very high quality. I really like the automatic back to back capability. Color prints are very high quality and black and white copies are crisp and clear. Also it runs very quietly. I highly recommend this product.

It was a little difficult too connect too wifi but its easy too use after that , nice printer for its price.

I bought the printer as a replacement for my groaning 10 year old HP. It was perfect. Easy to set up, quiet, and adequate speed. One problem is when you print, it doesn't automatically put out the paper holder like my old Envy does, so if your printer is in another room, you can find all your printed pages covering the floor. That is a flaw worth two stars IMHO.

I really like to small size of this printer. It fits on the side section of my desk. It has all of the features I need - two side printing, envelope printing, feed, scan and copy, and wireless. It is pretty quiet and the print quality is fine. It also plays well with Apple products.

Great so, I love that it prints on both sides of the paper and is very quiet. Also it was super easy to setup through the app

This is a really good printer, except that getting it to connect wirelessly can be a lengthy endeavor. If you ever lose the connection, it is even worse. Last resort was to set it up using my phone. It has an open hole near the power cord that is covered with sticker with a WiFi symbol. Strange. The control panel is NOT intuitive. Any help requires printing the instructions, which can add up. The ink subscription through HP is less than satisfactory. When they ship the correct cartridges, designated XL, they don’t last as long as my previous printer with standard cartridges. The quality of both text and photos is very good. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money and can deal with the idiosyncrasies, it is a good value.

I love my new H/P wireless printer. I can print remotely from my laptop or my tablet. It's convenient and easy to set up and use. I especially like the option of being able to either print on one side or both sides of the paper. And reasonably priced too!

Since the arrival of smart phones, everything is now becoming a "smart" device... printers I guess, are no exception. The HP Envy 6455e is labeled as a smart printer... my guess is that the real smart thing that the printer does is order ink for you. The setup is overly complicated. You first remove all of the blue tape, and then it tells you to download the smart app. What it doesn't tell you is that you need to plug in your printer first. Now some may say that it's obvious, but when you're trying to follow it step by step, it's a critical point to leave out. If this were my parents, they would have returned it. After you download the app, you connect through a specific wi-fi, and then it connects via bluetooth. It took at least three tries to connect because it says the connection is too weak. My phone was sitting on top of the printer and it and the signal was too weak. I guess I was supposed to place my phone inside of the printer next to the ink. Once I got all of the set up done, I loaded the ink and then was bombarded by all of the notifications on the smart control panel. And the weirdest part are all of the RGB lighting. I guess it's a smart gaming printer. All in all, HP dropped the ball when launching this printer. From the set up to the whole "who is this printer targeted at?" When it comes to the printing itself, not bad... scanning to the cloud is a nice feature, but the whole marketing of having to create and account to HP+ to receive free ink seems like a decent deal but not at the cost of selling your information. All in all, this is printer to skip

Great product just an another one from HP .I love it , so easy to use a really nice design, light and compact all in one Drawer storage for the printing paper is useful and keeps the paper dust free at least also scanner is cool , ink cartages easy to install . I would say a perfect product

As disappointed (very little use) as I was with the printhead error on my HP OJ Pro 6975 and inability to resolve it I had to move on. The Out of Box to first print was less than 20 mins. Granted I already had the HP Smart app. loaded and I did work for HP San Diego (where this printer was designed) for 35 years. Regardless HP has come a long ways with the HP Smart application and out of box experience (my only issue is the sticker on the cover was difficult to remove and left a ton of adhesive). With HP+ I received an extra year of warranty and 6 months of free printing with new ink on the way via the HP Instant Ink program. The rating was based on first impressions and experience plus what I see as a good value for the money. I understand that dropping off wireless has been corrected and I like the look and feel of the printer without the control panel. With all of our devices already on hand, why not reduce the cost of the printer by eliminating the standard user interface. The visual lighting features are pretty intuitive. I'm ready for the 6 months of FREE - 700 pages or less, printing and then saving money and the added convenience via the Instant Ink program.

I really like this little all-in-one printer, because of its handy size and its features. It’s theoretically a perfect home all-in-one printer. But past experience with previous identical ones makes me question its reliability. So far, this one works just fine in all respects. It’s easy to set up, and so long as it works, I’ll be happy. But HP needs to work on reliability for its low end printers. My first one failed out of the box and was replaced immediately. My second one failed after only a year—it would copy but not print from any source, and neither Best Buy Geek Squad nor HP’s online support could get it to work consistently—one day it would print, the next it would not, but more often not.

HP printers are solid and lasting. In the short time using this product I found it easy to set up and connect. Print quality is good as is the speed. The only reason I hesitate to give any product 5 stars is I need to see dependability over a 4-6 month time span. If it continues to deliver dependability and quality, I would rate it a 5!! The associate who assisted me was a 5+ star rating.

The printer is good, just like everything else HP will put you in the subscription cycle. The printer is decent for its price - I did a lot of research before buying it. The only thing that printer wouldn't do is scan both duplex pages. It can do bulk scanning but just one side of papers. Rest all is good. Printers faster than other inkjet printers. Doesn't take too long to warm up.

Great for my home office! It is quiet and compact. I love the ease with which I was able to set it up.

The printer is nice and compact. The print quality is is great. The only issue I had was keeping it consistently connected to the WI-FI. You go to use the printer the next day after using it successfully and you find that the printer can’t be found. I reinstalled the printer and it seems to working better now.

We enjoy this printer, but it does not have a fax feature. The speed is moderate, This item does have a feeder. I found learning the various colors that tell you how to trouble shoot frustrating. I like that the printer will print instructions. This printer will not work inside college dorms. We are still trying to figure out why. So far it is a compatibility issue.

This stylish white HP printer replaces an older, bigger, bulkier one. This not only looks great and fits into the decor of the office (home office) it also works smoothly, silently and the resulting printout is crisp and clear. I am very happy with this purchase.
