Works well. Overall I give this Device a 4-star rating. My Nephew purchased one about 9 months afterward. I only wish this device was lighter and non-metal. Alternatively, I wish it had a protective covering. Another down side is it does not come with enough memory for typical business use.

Bought for word processing and some minor gaming. Does exactly what I bought it for.

It's a very good laptop love the color but it is a fingerprint magnet also is hard to find a covers you can a 15" laptop sleeve with this laptop and it runs most programs and games I can run fl studio and forzra horizon but at time it does get slow it a very good laptop but best if you wait for a sale.

I set out to buy a cheap laptop and decided to splurge a little and ended up unknowlingly buying a cheap laptop that is convertible to a tablet. Jeeees, this thing is a turkey. I installed Norton and MS Office and now I suffer no end of glitches and freezes after only having this machine for a couple of months. What a waste. I really like it and had hoped to replace my iMac as my main computer. Nope. No way. And what is especially bad about the whole thing is I specifically told the salesman the only reason I was willing to pay more would be to get a standalone graphics processor verses integrated graphics. Well, I'm poorly versed in AMD enough that I didn't realize that that was what I ended up with until it was too late. And the rest of the family uses Macs so I can't even give this thing away.

Although I had some problems in the beginning and took it back for an exchange, the one they gave me the second time was amazing. I love how thin it is especially when putting the laptop in a backpack you can’t really feel the weight of it.

I was so confident they would work well I ordered 2!! wife and I. Great laptops fast start up fingerprint sign in ? (cool). Good size overall great speed have not tried on gaming yet I'm sure it will do fine with the graphics card installed. I always trust the AMD name for quality and performance...you might see this review twice as we purchased 2 !

Overall, this model is a great fit for me. Specifically, I like the large HD screen is clear and bright. The B&O speakers have superb range and clarity for their size. Finally, the large, precise keyboard is just right for my aging visual acuity and my clumsy fingers; the keystrokes are audible and crisply haptic, which I especially like, -Chas W.

Strong resolution, fast processor, and above average sound from speakers. The switch from keyboard to touchscreen is a bit slow and glitchy. The center pad is confusing, double tap vs. Click is not very intuitive.

Excellent laptop very fast, the best laptop I have owned

This laptop is great for average every day use but once you start to do heavy workloads or even simple games, it really ramps up the temps. Basically you need to buy this and some sort of laptop cooling pad in order to get good temps.

amazing laptop, gets the job done and the clarity from the AMD radeon Vega Ryzen 7 makes everything so clear. I would definitely buy again. There is an issue with chrome crashing randomly, but i hear that is a problem with chrome on different types of laptops, because chrome uses a ton of RAM

I have tended to stay away from HP however; I cannot get enough of this unit!! 15" screen, GREAT keyboard w/ numeric keys. End button works....this was a big deal to me for work-related reasons. Speakers are LOUD. Updated processor. I think the RAM is upgradeable. I think this is a keeper.

I was really excited for this laptop. It replaced a $250 Acer that I had for 2 years. Unfortunately, I've had more problems in the 2 months I've had this laptop than the 2 years I had the Acer. First time something happened I believe it was trying to update the BIOS. Laptop was NOT plugged in, closed, and still got extremely hot in the carrying case. The other 3 times it was plugged in and closed, yet still was too hot to touch. I contacted HP and their solution was to send it in and be without the laptop for 5 days even though I bought a lemon since the problem seems to be the fan or pay $50. I'm really disappointed in HP and will not be buying any HP from now on. I would think seeing as this is a problem with their hardware and it's been such a short time of having the device they would try to remedy the situation quickly and without cost to me.
