Solid for price

It's good for the price. The screen can be a little dim, and the trackpad feels cheap/shaky, but I'm pretty picky about those features. Overall, solid computer.

Static on Speakers and Rattling Trackpad

I purchased this one do to my last one crashed after having it for only 1 1/2 years. This current one I was extremely excited about as the reviews appeared to portray a new an improved version. Right out of the box it seemed all of this was true. Yet less than 2 months later it has become sluggish, freezes up whereas I have to re-boot to be able to get it to do anything on it. What really confuses me is my work laptop is also an HP and works beautifully. I can understand having challenges with 1 laptop but two in a row with issues, very disappointing.

Okay, but not for me

If I slightly touched the screen it changed everything I was doing. Maybe if you are used to a touch screen it is good for you, but I don't particularly care for it.

Disappointed and Upset

However, they neglected to tell me I needed to make an appointment. I did make one but it was not enough time. So a booked a double but the Geek was too busy getting ready to go home to give me a good tutoring. Found out that I couldn't even open any of my transferred data because he didn't tell me I needed Adobe or MicroSoft works. Took the computer on vacation to work and couldn't do a thing. Very disappointed.
