Airplanemode
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am returning this computer tomorrow. The laptop has defaulted to airplane mode on three occasions. I have to bring it back to Best Buy to have it fixed each time. I have no time to continue going back and forth. Very annoyed.

Bad pointing device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mouse pad is terrible. It sticks, randomly “clicks”, and doesn’t respond properly when on the scroll bar.

Sadly unreliable
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great out of the box, but less than one year in the cursor started disappearing randomly, get stuck on the HP loading screen on boot, and no matter what we did (had Geek Squad Protection plan where the workers just did a simple wipe and restore that took two weeks funnily enough) it kept repeating said issue. Now we're at the end of the protection plan with a ulreliable laptop. Avoid HP products.

Sales training needed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product works great but our purchasing left a lot to be desired. Our sales person was condescending and paid more attention to his phone than to his customer.

Dont Reccomend
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst purchase of my life. Computer had corrupt software and my screen goes black after I put my password in after 3 months of just minimal use and no falls or bumps. Manufaturarer wont cover it and neaither will best buy so thats almost 700 down the drain. Unless I pay 100 for a fix , super dissapointed in the quality.

Defective hinges
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hinges broke off after 1 year of minimal use. Wish I knew about the hinge issues that other hp envy users were experiencing before I made my purchase. It will now cost me $200 to get the defective hinges replaced since I did not purchase an extended warranty.

Learnt lesson on AMD processors
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop on a decent sale and thought I was getting a great laptop. Because of the AMD processor it died within 4 weeks of purchase. The good part it died within the amount of time to exchange at BestBuy. I like HP laptops but never buy another with AMD processor again.

Look Elsewhere
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Look elsewhere. This laptop gets hot really fast. Battery last about 5-7 hours. I don't know if it's just me but it's not bright enough. My old model HP Pavilion was way better and I it for years. But lately it would only work when it was plugged in. I wanted a newer laptop so I got this.....smh.

Good college laptop for an affordable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased in store but here is my initial thoughts on the HP Envy x360 AMD Ryzen 5. I had completely fallen in love with the Dell XPS 2-in-1, but needed a way more budget friendly 2-in-1 laptop for college. I was going to settle for an Inspiron, but went into the store and was completely redirected to HP laptops. Ended up with this Envy x360 and I'm not disappointed. It was $100 cheaper than the closest Inspiron, and the Ryzen processor was a tad better than the Intel. Setting up the laptop was a horrific process, not because of the laptop, but of Microsoft accounts - ended up doing a factory reset because I got locked out and the PIN "was unavailable." If only Apple had 2-in-1s... Once I was finally able to actually use my laptop, I was duly impressed. The touch-screen is super convenient for me and very responsive. The hinges seem sturdy and tight, holding the screen at any angle without sinking. Multitasking while loading Word, the Envy did get a little warm underneath and the fan noise was audible. The performance never slowed, though, and it cooled down fairly quickly. Since then, I've been web browsing, checking email, and typing in Word and not heard a peep. I do miss a separate number keypad, but for me, it's not a huge deal. The keyboard is a nice size, just a little loud, especially the space bar - something I'm told is a common issue with HP laptops. Also, the power button is right next to the Delete, so if you're used to using the delete button, you gotta be careful getting used to the keyboard. Again, though, not a deal-breaker issue. The camera shutter and microphone buttons on the keyboard are very useful, especially in this age of Zoom. The buttons have lights to show whether they're enabled so there's no accidental flashings. Speakers are very nice - Bang and Olufsen - and I can foresee watching movies with friends easily. Battery holds its charge nicely, no complaints there. In all, it really is a nice laptop and perfect for my college needs. Due to the sweet price tag, though, it isn't top notch. -If your hands are sweaty, the trackpad drags a little on the fingers, the display collects fingerprints more than I'd expected, little things like that. But if you want to save money, absolutely worth it.

Review: HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Lap
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 is a versatile and stylish laptop with performance and flexibility. Its AMD Ryzen 5 5500U processor, 8GB of memory, and 256GB SSD make it well-equipped for everyday tasks and light multitasking. Pros: Convertible Design: The 360-degree hinge allows for multiple modes, including laptop, tent, stand, and tablet, making it perfect for presentations, media consumption, and creative work. Touch-Screen Display: The 15.6" touch-screen display is bright and responsive, providing a good viewing experience for movies, web browsing, and casual gaming. Portability: Despite its large screen, the laptop is relatively lightweight and portable, making it easy to carry around. Build Quality: The Nightfall Black finish gives it a sleek and professional look, and the all-metal body feels sturdy and durable. Cons: Display Resolution: The 1080p resolution may feel outdated compared to higher-resolution displays on other laptops. Battery Life: While decent, the battery life could be better, especially when using more demanding applications. Heavier in Tablet Mode: The laptop can feel heavy and unwieldy when used as a tablet. Overall, the HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 is a solid choice for those looking for a versatile and stylish laptop that can handle everyday tasks and offer flexibility in usage modes. Its strong performance and sleek design make it an excellent option for work and play.
