    Hp VS MacBook pro

Bought this for my wife for school. Was going to buy a new MacBook Pro but they were 1300-2000 dollars and for that price you can’t upgrade them with new ram or hard drives because they are built on flash devices. For the price the hp is direct competition for the Mac. Hp had a larger screen, more ram and larger hard drive. I can upgrade to a ssd in the future when she is done with school and I get ahold of it. But for price I couldn’t pass it up. The screen is beautiful too. Sharp and clear while streaming videos.

Bought this for work to use with project management estimating software. The I5 processor is fine for my needs, did not feel necessary to spend the extra $ for the I7. Has a numerical keypad to make inputting prices and footage easier, plenty of storage at 1tb, is quite fast, and also beautiful to look at. No problems at all running multiple programs at the same time. While this model does not have a dvd writer,Best Buy had an external one for only 30 bucks. Would recommend this laptop to anyone for personal and business use.

    Good Computer for the Price

Let's put it right up front. I HATE changing computers. This one takes some getting used to. It feels cool when I start, and I am a senior woman with cold hands and that was the first thing I noticed, My last computer I think I received the transfer between computers free and this time it @ $80. I need to take it back in because there are several tweaks to be made. Note that I do not play video games, nor drawings. I didn't need a big computer, It simply takes awhile to get used to a different keyboard. My previous computer lasted only 2 years. My biggest pet peeve!

I purchased this 2-in-1 as an upgrade from an older HP 2-in-1. I chose this particular model because I can rest my hand on the screen to write in tablet mode. I've only played around a little with writing in tablet mode but so far, so good. This model does not have a lock slot, which would be nice. There are only 2 USB ports. Luckily that's usually enough when using my laptop. The SD card slot is definitely handy. There is also 1 USB-C port and an HDMI port that I don't really need at the moment.

I haven't even had my laptop for 6 months and: My personal Cons (not everyone might have these issues): - For some reason I have issues accessing the HP Support page, every time for the past two months I've gone to it it's been down for me. Today though it seems to be working fine, so I'm going to try and get some of the issues I've had resolved. - My rubber feet have both just fallen off no idea why the sticky just came unstuck. - My power cord pops up the message that it's not the right power source for my laptop. - My laptop doesn't seem to want to stay charged. - Sometimes when I login into my computer it just goes to a black blank screen, at random. - My laptop gets insanely hot sometimes and so does the powercord, also random. - My touch screen goes out everyone once in a while, I have to restart my computer to get it to work again. - I had the old version of this computer and I miss the smooth edges the edges are pretty rough on this one. - It's a fairly heavy laptop. Pros for me: - The screen is amazing, big and nice saturation. It's like owning a mega tablet it makes designing so easy. - Love that there is an option light for the keyboard. - It's compatible with all of my design software and hardware (I'm a graphic designer) - It's compatible with pressure point pens. - It's good for a college student. - It looks sleek. - It runs fairly quickly, for the most part. - I LOVE the email feature on this laptop, it's so nice getting to review all five of my email accounts at once. - There are so many built in application that help keep me organized. Kudos to Microsoft! - For all it does, it's definitely a valuable price.

Plenty of ram, superb latest generation i5 processor. Lighted keyboard which features numeric pad. 15in touch screen which also supports Windows ink. Only thing I'd upgrade is the hard drive for a solid one. Have been using this laptop for the last three weeks and couldn't be happier. I normally run a ton of tabs in Chrome (known to be a memory hog and slow down to a crawl), along an Android simulator. Have also used camera for teleconferencing and watch movies in bed in tablet mode.

I have always had great sucess with HP and this new laptop has held to my expectations and more. While this is not top of the line it does great for me. It allows me to open and navigate many programs at one time. It seems to be very fast and reliable. I like the thinness of it although the weight feels about the same as most laptops. I would recommend this laptop for a very good hard working laptop. I haven't tried gaming and I would assume that there would be higher end tops for that.

The Envy x360 is a great laptop! I have found the set up is not as painful as I have experienced with other laptops. It has several cool features that I have found useful. For example the lighted keyboard for dark or night use it very helpful. It also boots up much quicker that previous laptops that I have owned. The screen is exceptionally clear and bright without being hard on the eyes. The only missing feature is that it has no CD drive, I had to purchase a separate plug in CD drive.

Taking laptop to Geek Squad for the 3rd time. Purchase item 11/27/17. If you work with a lot of numbers, you are going to be very unhappy with this laptop. The NUM LOCK does not stay on. Spent a lot of time yesterday with Geek Squad on line - they were not able to resolve the issue. Have an appointment today to see if the problem can be fixed. May decide to return this item. Concerned when the warranty expires I'm going to have problems.

I love this computer and the 2-1 features. The only downfall is there is not really an active stylus made for this laptop. I’ve heard the bamboo does not work with it and I’ve heard that the HP active stylus is not for the ENVY 360.
