This laptop replaced an HP i5 laptop that was robust for FIVE years. When the old one crashed and BSOD'd, I knew I was going to get a similar replacement. This new laptop convertible is sleek and fast. The hard drive is a SSD 256 gb, which is small-ish, but I keep my files in the cloud. As long as there's plenty of space for system files, it works well for me. I do a fair amount of gaming, that is, I play the kinds that Microsoft calls Casual Games: Mahjong, Jigsaw puzzles, Cryptograms, etc. This new HP handles having many apps open at once. And the price was also great!

If you are looking fora laptop with the most versatility a 2-in-1 that bends back to switch into tablet mode this is the best choice and you need keep in mind these 3 things ............. BENDBACK : Bendback 2-in-1s, which have screens that flip back 360 degrees, work far better in laptop mode and usually have greater endurance, a better keyboard and more ports. much better than Detachable 2-in-1s SCREEN RESOLUTION: 1920 x 1080 display Resolution VS 1366 x 1080 with the same Price SIZE: For the best balance between portability and usability a 15 in models provide lots of real estate for drawing or media viewing.

Essentially happy with my purchase. Meets my straightforward needs, the screen is a good size, although a bit large if I were to transport it often but it's mostly used at home. I applied accumulated credit card points to my purchase which resulted in it being even more affordable - Score! My only concerns are that the battery does seem to get rather hot with prolonged use, the fingerprint recognition rarely functions, and the touch screen is slightly glitchy. I'm a simple user so none of things prevent use.

I needed a new laptop because I recently started back at school and I'm taking online classes. The laptop does everything I need it to for school plus the basics like checkint e-mail and browsing the web. When I first startee it up, the fan was very loud. However, after finishing all updates and deleting programs I knew I wouldn't use or need, the fan became very quiet and has been ever since. This laptop has been great! I've had it for a couple months and have had no issues so far and got through my first class successfully with it!

I bought this on a whim to replace a cheaper HP I broke. It's very sturdy, and surprsingly light weight. I love the touch screen and even the speakers are good. The only thing that bugs me is when it is in tablet mode it is difficult to find things on the desktop. I am still navigating that. Typing on it is very easy and I don't accidently hit the mouse pad with my wrist which makes me very happy. Any stylus will work with the screen. It is very fast when you are searching the web and it even migrated everything on my one drive to this computer. I am so pleased.

Went to Amazon to post review they said: "product currently has limitations on submitting reviews. There can be a number of reasons for this, including unusual reviewing activity." This is because after a few months this laptop makes a buzzing noise from underneath that their HP online Tech people cannot fix. They offered to send me a box for it with instructions. Noise is totally annoying. Go on line and check and you'll see this complaint frequently....

I started with an HP laptop many years ago, and decided to give HP another try after years of Lenovo machines. I love this laptop. Slick, lightweight, good battery life, fast processor … nothing about it that I'm really disappointed in. If I had to pick on something, I guess I'd say that the lettering on the keyboard is not terribly easy to see in high lighting, but very easy to see in low lighting with the backlight on. I just hate Windows 10 assuming I want everything backed up to the cloud without asking, however, that's certainly not HP's fault. Glad I went back to HP.

I've had this laptop about 8 weeks now. Replaced a Dell with i3 that ran sooo slow. I'm very happy with the i5 performance. Love the backlit keyboard. Not to mention the overall appearance. It's just a beautiful machine! This laptop had everything I was looking for. The salesman tried to steer me toward a Lenovo but I need a numeric keypad and the most of the Lenovo's in my price range did not have it. Only having it a short time, I have yet to explore the many features it offers but so far it fits my needs perfectly!

I really needed a new laptop after my Dell crashed on me after 10 years. I had been browsing around for a while when I finally saw this one. It matched all of the specs that I was looking for and the screen is amazing! The features are nice as well. So far, so good. The only thing I dislike about it is the lagging. Certain websites and programs lag. As I write this review, the computer is lagging, so I may exchange it for another one. Besides that, I really like this purchase! The sound is amazing and so is the backlit keyboard.

Overall this is a okay laptop for its price. This laptop has ample IO, and decent sound volume and quality. This laptop does feel warm to the touch when on load but mainly because of the aluminum body. I feel like I got a defective model since my device tends to freeze or blue screen when I flip it over to tablet mode. Then there is the issue of a silent hissing sound from the middle of the system when on load. All my other HP devices do not do this under the same conditions.

I Purchased this computer a few weeks ago. I was using a wireless mouse, and all of a sudden the mouse went dead. Went out and bought new batteries. Didn’t help. So I’m using the touchpad and it is the worst touchpad I have ever used in my lifetime. Boxes keep popping up everywhere, you hit the touchpad and it will not close windows. Beware up the touchpad. If I had not had all of my work files transferred and software set up, spent $300 doing this, I would’ve returned it in a heartbeat.

bought it for my daughter who is a junior in high school, but is taking college-level and accredited classes over the summer and in her senior year, so she needo a computer... She absolutely loves it, as for myself I can speak only to the fact that she's more than happy with it!!! Having said that, she's been used to using a cheap, School issued Chromebook for the last 3 years... So I would imagine anything would seem like a significant and major upgrade!!!

I've had an HP laptop before and loved it. It was perfect for my general ed courses in college, but since working into 3D art, I needed an upgrade. What I love most about this for being a laptop, the screen size is large and doubles as a tablet, so I can draw directly on the screen. It has a very sharp picture quality and the battery life's after one full charge lasted all day in school. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a laptop for day to day things, but who also works in digital media.

I haven't even had my laptop a year and it crashes constantly. I have virus protection. I've ran every test I can... called hp "that will 200 to clear some cookies and files".. told them no thanks. All I do is edit in light room and photoshop nothing seems to work ever.. the customer service is a joke from everything I've read. So upset with this waste of 900$ worked well for about 3 months and now it is slower then my husbands 8 yr old toshiba.. I will never buy another hp product as long as I live. All I want is my money back but that will never happen.

In the process of looking for a new computer. I settled on this device. I wanted something with a SSD for quick boot, but wouldn't break the bank. This is what I settled on. I have a larger computer for gaming and high processing tasks. So the i5 met my needs, this device over the spectre series had more ports and still supports windows ink (pen separate purchase), and has a nice backlit keyboard. I couldn't be happier with the process and its very quick for everything I wanted with good battery life. I'd recommend folks take a look at this, as you will be very impressed in my opinion.

I just purchased this computer for my fiancé and it is a great computer. I have the Spectre and I believe this Envy puts up pretty well compared to my computer. I am in IT and if I didn't need everything that my Spectre has I would've gotten an Envy as well. The only reason it is a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because the touchpad of the computer was assembled a little weird and it would rub on the side of the housing. I am pretty sure it was just a one time thing and I was able to move it over with a flathead screwdriver.

I had an issue with it the first couple weeks i had it. it had some glitch and it kept freaking out. the blue screen of death came on and it said something about no hard drive. But I reset it and reinstalled the OS and now it works amazing so in short, would recommend. Also, it took me way too long to find where the finger sensor used to sign in when you turn it on was. And it only works like half the time, and i have to type in my pin to log in. It is really fast though and the screen is huge and i use it for school so it does everything i need it to do. The end.

After spilling coffee on my HP Notebook 15-af131dx one morning by mistake, I felt so embarrassed that I had to tell my wife what had happened, she smiled, and asked me was it still in warranty, which that warranty had just expired two days before. So , we gathered ourselves together , and headed for our Best Buy Store to purchase a new Laptop. The HP Envy x360 m Convertible 15m-cn0011dx caught both of our eyes. So we bought it, and we are very happy with this purchase.

I love the laptop. Its fast, sleek, and stylish. I wasn't planning on paying this much for a laptop, but I caught mine on sale, and the price was too good to pass up. The laptop has been really fast, and hasn't given me any issues thus far. I would say that it can get quite loud at times, which doesn't bother me. I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 because, considering the price of the laptop, I feel as though a stylist should've been accompanied with this product. Great product, though. I'm happy with my purchase.

Overall, very stylish laptop with all the latest features. I only use my laptop for casual internet surfing, checking emails, etc. This laptop is equipped to do much more. The only drawback I found and didn't notice until I was home is that it didn't come with a CD ROM DRIVE. Had to purchase an external CD rom drive. I purchased a laptop for its mobility and having to carry external drives on the go is not very fun. If it weren't for the CD ROM Drive issue I would give it 5 stars
