I have wanted a computer tablet like this ever since I saw that Disney channel movie that had one in it. I can’t even remember the name. It wants you to update everything as soon as you start it and get it all set up. I recommend doing it then and not waiting. I love how easy it flips. It has an on screen keyboard when you want to type something. I use to mainly stream YouTube, Netflix , Hulu, the usual. I also use it for therapy. I love it! The camera also has a privacy feature which closes the camera off. I loooovee that!! I haven’t had it that long but so far I am in love with it!! It’s also my first HP!

I was worried about getting this computer. I was stuck between 3 different ones. I don't have the financial means to get a new laptop in 2 years if the one I buy doesn't last.
While I can't comment on how long it will last, I love this laptop. I originally bought the Acer from Amazon with 15k reviews. When I got it I was beyond disappointed and the screen actually hurt my head.
I know you think you don't need or care about the fingerprint scanner (that was me before too).... but it's actually amazing. Open the laptop, touch scanner, and boom you're on your desktop so fast.
I love the screen. I absolutely needed a lit keyboard and this one is nice. The backlight also has two settings with one being brighter than the other.
The keyboard is heaven. I have never typed fast in my life!!!!! The clicks are perfect and comfy. Never overheats. Gets a little warm. I've only had the fan kick on once in over a month of all day long use and it was because there was a big update.
I am so glad I spent the extra 150 for this laptop. Just do it. Soooooooo fast!!!!

This is the very first laptop I've purchased on my own. It's incredible. So many great features. Very fast in speed. Easy set up. Tablet mode is great for streaming movies and TV shows. The keyboard with the numbers pad is such a great addition since most of the laptops I've had don't have that. I'm a writer so the backlight on the keys is so helpful when I'm working at night. Amazing product!

This PC seems like it will exactly meet expectations for a practical device great for browsing, documents, photo storage and spreadsheets. Set up was easy; curbside pickup from BB store was fantastic.
Putting the "noisy fan" reviews (which had me concerned as I was shopping) into some perspective, if you're really sensitive to any noise and need total quiet, buy a different machine. For me, and I expect for most people, the fan is a non-issue. First off, it runs very seldom. Second, when it does run, I'd describe the noise as rather soft, tiny. The sound quality (but not the volume) does resemble a jet plane taking off, but to me it's equivalent to a 5-inch jet plane taking off about 500 feet away. I'd be surprised if the noise is an issue for most people. I understand that different folks have different tolerance levels to sound and to some people, the fan would be a problem. Not to me.

Bought this for a future college student as a gift. So far they love it. It’s lightweight, battery lasts very long, & touch screen!!! They love that it’s touchscreen & can fold the screen completely to turn it into a tablet. User interface it’s super friendly to understand. Great first laptop for college students that won’t break the budget!!!

This is a very useful computer. It can be used as a tablet or a computer. The touchscreen is also very helpful. There is only one USB port, so it makes it impossible to use more than one device that requires a USB. It powers up quickly and has a lot of memory. I would recommend this product.

This HP laptop is amazing. I purchased this one after having to return a dell that i bought from Amazon. I will NEVER do that again! This laptop came with everything that i wanted. Touch Screen, 2 in 1 feature, backlit keyboard, side number keypad. I LOVE it. The battery life on it is awesome. I don't use it to play games. Mostly surf the web, watch TV or do some writing. It does not come with a CD/DVD drive, but i find that most computers nowadays, don't. It still has usb ports and you can connect an external DVD/CD Drive to it (and i have) and it works just fine. I'm so happy that it still has Windows Media player. I'm a big fan of that and have all my music there. I don't really care for GROOVE music player.
The computer itself is sleek and lightweight. Comes with Windows 10 (not in S mode)... and it fits all of my needs. No issues with setting it up out the box. I really hope this computer stands the test of time.

I had an experience with HP; however, it updated itself and never got better. I then got a MacBook Air and it broke down on me. I was in need of looking for a new laptop and knew I wanted a HP. I originally wanted the spectre but it was way over budget of what I was willing to spend. I did some research and can I just say this laptop does the job for what I need. I use this for both school and work. I'm a heavy multitasker. So far this laptop has been super good. I believe the price that you pay for does you justice. It's sleek and nice. I really appreciate the audio. In fact, I believe the audio is a lot better than the others that I compared it to.
Here's a list of my pros and cons of the laptop.
Pros:
- numeric key pad (super useful since I work on lots of numbers)
- audio is excellent - it's loud
- the battery life even after using zoom for most of the day is reasonable
-love the 2-in-1 feature
- the touchpad is a really good size
- sleek all-metal design with thin screen bezels
- webcam kill switch & microphone privacy
- finger print log-in (especially with COVID is useful compared to face recognition)
Con:
- it's heavy (what do you expect from a 15 inch haha)
- decent display but slightly dull
- occasionally the fans go super loud when using it for a long period of time
- gets super hot after a long period of use (just use a fan)
Note: if you plan on doing heavy editing, video editing, or even video gaming I wouldn't recommend this unless you get a Core i7 but even then I would just say get the bang for your buck and spend for a HP spectre x360.

I couldn't be more happy with the customer service representative who helped me select my nephew's laptop. We were looking for something that he could use for fun as well as for schooling. One that would be fast enough as well as old enough memory to get him through his classes. This was exactly the perfect laptop. He played with it a lot in the store and he really likes the feeling he's excited to get the pins we can use the drawing aspect of the device since it's a 211. Highly recommend this laptop to anybody is looking for their first computer for college. you'll be able to get everything you want any doubt of it the only downfall is that it did not come stock with any of Microsoft office applications those needed to be bought separately and only basic antivirus software.

I am an educator and I love my HP Envy x360. It has everything that I need for work. It doesn’t get warm, and I can comfortably do my work. I love having a touchscreen for my zoom meetings with my students. I can doodle and make the class more creative. And I love how I can angle it so that it is comfortable to stream. It is a big laptop and that’s what I was looking for. I don’t regret my purchase. (I Do have to say that it’s sound is not very loud and it has a glossy screen, which doesn’t bother me because I am always indoors, but if you use your laptop mostly outside it might not be the best laptop for you) Hope you find this helpful to make your choice.

I gave my older HP PC to my son earlier this year for distance learning. After much research and a short-lived mistake (that's what happens when you cheap out), I bought this HP Envy. I absolutely LOVE this PC. The keyboard is amazing - so easy to type on, I love the numbers keypad, and the backlit is perfect. Most importantly for me, though, since I do a lot of internet work, is how fast it is! It loads pages almost immediately (which is the biggest difference between this and lower end PCs). Needless to say, when my other son's ACER clonked out just a few weeks after I purchased this one for myself, I purchased another one for him. If you're looking for a great PC under $1000 this one's for you!

First, I love the way this looks - it's really a beautiful laptop. Maybe I am used to less expensive ones :). Anyway, the screen is brilliant, the keyboard is easy and fast, love the touchscreen and the fact that you can turn the webcam off with the push of a button (instead of putting washi tape over the camera lens - lol). I feel so much better with the aluminum frame too - my last plastic one cracked and broke. I did a TON of research and just couldn't find a laptop that had everything I wanted until I found this one. I am so happy with it. Haven't used it much, but nice to have the 2 in 1 function so I can use it as a tablet. No problems to date and love using it!

We bought this for my elementary kids knowing it was overkill. We also received laptops in the end from their school district as they are in a hybrid mode for school. Therefore this has become as much for them playing games as doing schoolwork. But it works very well and is much faster than they were used to. It is lightweight and seems sturdy. The only issue in the last month was it took a while to recharge the first time it was down to no battery life left. Maybe that is normal but overall we are very happy. My first laptop 20 years ago was 4 time this price so technology has sure come a long ways.

Bought this to replace an older HP Laptop that was no longer worth repairing. Because I needed something quickly, I did not have the luxury of shopping & waiting for a particular sale. This happened to be on sale at the time. It provides both a laptop and tablet; upgrades me to a touchscreen for the 1st time. Some have complained of fan noise; fan is noticeable when it comes on, but not loud enough to be distracting. I'm not a gamer, so I can't speak to that, but, for personnel and remote office work, this was a steal on sale.

So far I really like this laptop. It is sleek and pretty. I didn't think I would like the touchscreen feature but it is actually handy. It is fast and boots up quick. Took it on a roadtrip and watched movies in the hotel and the 360 feature was cool. The sound could be a little louder- my only complaint thus far. I had an HP Envy in the past and it was reliable and durable and I am hoping for the same with this model.

Only been using it for a month but this product pretty much is what I needed it to be. I use it for school and work. It is a bit heavier than I expected but overall given it's size, not too bad.
I will say the fan is slightly annoying and turns on more than I expected. (Even on quiet mode, it is pretty noticeable)
Good speed and features, clean look. Happy with this purchase especially considering it was less expensive than other products that probably function at the same level.

I wanted to get my son a sleek, lightweight laptop to take to college. We wanted a Touchscreen and backlit keyboard. This Hp Envy checked all the boxes and more. He initially figured he would need to take he old laptop and his new one to allow him to have two screens open at once. But with this laptop he was able to leave his old one at home as he can open more than one window on a single screen. It’s attractive, lightweight, fast and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?
