I gave this laptop 5 stars because it is what it has to be. It's a laptop with a very respectable battery life, but don't expect zoom to be kind to it since zoom loves to eat up power on ANY device. It's speed is impressive for a laptop, AFTER installing all the windows updates and drivers after your initial boot up. But remember, it will NOT fix any issues with the windows API, and that's not the laptop's fault. Any PC will always have issues with windows 10, and on this laptop, there aren't any more or less bugs with windows compared to a high end pc that I can notice. The speakers are definitely a highlight if you have to use the onboard speakers as opposed to headphones or your external speakers. And what I mean by that is that for a laptop, there's enough frequency range to make the sound feel full and can get loud without distorting, but be realistic and not play bass boosted music and expect it to portray a clean bass sound to that of a 500 dollar subwoofer. The screen gets plenty bright and the keyboard is big enough to not confuse which keys you're pressing, though the offset of the keyboard can get a bit of getting used to.
Overall, this is a fast and reliable laptop meant for school, business, or to be a family laptop. And with its specs, expect it to last many years. If it dies within a month or so, you got a dud and IS NOT the laptop's fault, it's the manufactur's fault since about 1 percent of all electronics are dead on arrival or die within a week or so. If everything goes smoothly, this laptop will keep running smoothly for a long time and will be very easy to repair if an issue does arise and you're out of the warranty.

I don't usually by HP, but the price and the build quality of this machine really got me interested. Here are what I like about the laptop:
-Lightweight and still feel premium
- Good keyboard and key travel. Hp has been doing some good things with their keyboards recently.
-Trackpad size is good. not too big nor small. Feels premium with glass surface and the click mechanism is one of the good ones.
- Keyboard backlight is nice to have. The keys are silver and the light is white, not the best combo but alright.
- Speakers! They are the best HP has ever put in a laptop. Not macbook pro level, but XPS level and better than all the Asus's, Lenovos, MSIs and etc.
- Battery life: 6-7 hours of web surfing, programming and watching videos on 50-60% brightness which has been my comfortable zone. I have made no compromise to increase battery life
- USB C CHARGIN: THIS WAS A MUST! as someone who often carries multiple devices including another worklaptop(macbook), I had to have only one charger in my bag and this laptop can get charged via usb C which is superb!
- Cooling is AMAZING. HP has developed this design where it leaves a little gap between the screen and the keyboard deck which allows for air circulation. So if you are someone who may use your laptop connected two monitors and with lid closed, this helps a lot to keep the temps down and the fans on low speed. Besides the gap between the screen, the laptop has two cooling fans which are very uncommon for this class laptops and it is perfectly cooled all the time with little to none fan noise.
I returned my xps 15 which I had bought for nearly two grand to buy this HP. Half the price, better performance and it has no issues like the ones with xps 15 (Trackpad).

I was looking to get a decent laptop for work and other activities. This was the best value laptop that i could find. And boyyy did it deliver.
This laptop is fast. Everything worked out of the box.
I was unsure about getting this laptop as it did not come with an ethernet port. However, I saw that this laptop can use 5 GHz. I connected to the internet and the speeds were amazing. Ethernet port is a thing of the past with this laptop.
I would recommend buying a usb hub if you are planning to connect multiple devices. I currently have this laptop connected with 2 usb 4 ports and a secondary display.
Highly satisfied.

I don’t give things 5 stars but, the HP Envy 2 in 1 is perfect for school and personal needs. I’m a big laptop fan and with the Envy the screen is big and vibrant. The display looks slick and stylish if you’re into a minimalist style. The iPad kid in me loves how the laptop can flip into a tablet and is touch screen in any mode. If you have an xbox console the Envy does have a Game Center you can activate and connect to as well which I really love because I can message from my laptop and not worry about typing with my controller.

Lightweight, good for being on the go, excellent touchscreen functions, quick response keyboard, runs quiet, runs smooth with multiple desktop windows, browsers and apps open. Easy to add SD card for additional storage space, good camera function. All sign options work well without being cumbersome.
Excellent service from the Best Buy team and not shadowing me for the sale but was available to answer my questions. These are some of the things that make the HP Envy x360 2n1 and Best Buy service 5 Star!!!!

This is one of my favorite computers. The screen is crisp and has a nice feel. The touchscreen function works great with my Bamboo pen and the rotation mechanic works amazing and comes in handy (goes all the way back and flips around). The speaker is actually not bad for a laptop and I may use it from time to time. The camera is really nice and I've been told its pretty smooth when on zoom calls or discord. Overall, the computer runs fast and smooth (now running Windows 11). The backlit keyboard is also satisfying and the light for them is ok. Could be a little brighter initially, but it does have a more dim setting. The touchpad is has a good feel as well and the button underneath feels natural. The fingerprint mechanic works really well and is fast. There are two buttons that I've been using a lot and they are the mute mic button and the camera off button. These come in handy and make sure that the mic and camera are shut off without having to rely on the program your using to control the mic or camera. The battery is good and I usually go through the day fine without charging until back home. There is a magnet on the ride side of the keyboard for the pen but I generally don't use it. I did notice that when typing I sometimes hit the "pg up," "pg dn," and "end" which could just be me being bad at typing but it is noticeable. Screen size is just right too, not too big or small. To go along the weight isn't bad either. No LAN cable *sigh*. Haven't had any issues since purchase (Bought 9-5-21 day of writing this 10-23-21) Overall, Solid computer.

This laptop does everything I need without costing me an arm and a leg. With an Intel Core I7 and 16 GB, it has excellent performance and all the processing power I need for my daily work -- but came in at a much lower price point than other similar laptops.
The display is great, the keyboard is easy to type on, and there's no lag time whatsever.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wish the batter lasted a little longer before requiring a recharge.

I use this computer for my business. I have designs and photos on this computer and it works well with my programs. It is easy to bring with me when I travel. My only concern is that the charge doesn't last as long as I need it too. I have to plug in at least once a day. I feel that with the price of this computer, the charge should last longer. The screen is a decent size, and the storage works well for me. For now.

I have really enjoyed this laptop. I really like the touch screen. I have used it mostly for school but, i have used it to edot some of my artwork. I love the size and portability. It connects easily to my wifi and printer. I bring it anytime I travel. I think for the price you get a lot for your money.

Perfect so far! Always boots up fast, never freezes, and runs all programs without a problem. Fingerprint sensor is a game changer. Also the light up keyboard is really nice. Battery life is not insane but I get a good 4-6 hours. Screen is nice but it’s definitely noticeably more pixelated than the 4K screens.

I am stunned by this laptop. I thought HP was an okay-ish brand but my experience so far has been amazing. Battery is great, fan is quiet, runs very fast, love the fingerprint reader, and the keyboard is excellent. I also appreciate that the camera "blocker" is a physical cover internally that also cuts power to the camera so it isn't on in the background. The only issue I have had so far is that it really doesn't like to go to sleep, and will sometimes wake itself back up and just be running in my bag. Also, it will sort of freeze itself when I try to wake it and won't turn back on. I have to do a full hard shut down to fix it. My solution is to just turn it off when I am moving around and have had no issues since.

Great laptop overall lightweight, easy to carry or pack. Fast downloading videos and websites which is a plus. Base does not get hot like my other laptops with a quiet fan. Touchscreen is a plus and very sensitive as is the mouse pad. The key light up in dark rooms or at night.
The key lights can be turned on or off which is well worth the option. Comes with several easy to use programs. I have the 15.6 but now wish I would have gotten the bigger 17" screen. A little pricey but still overall worth the price.

I purchased the HP Envy after a recommendation from an IBM executive that HP products were reliable.
The small bezel on the viewing screen is much appreciated and the fit and finish is excellent. The I-7 processor is noticeably faster thn my last lap top.
The convertible component is great, but this is still a lap top it’s heavier than a tablet. That weight does provide hours of run time. The upgrade monitor has crisp images and dark blacks. The typing keys have a lot of travel which is a good thing.
The touch pad is responsive, the built in right and left manual click is a little rudimentary but works. Overall I am not only pleased with this computer but somewhat impressed. I use it for personal use.
A few negatives no cd disc reader, it does show smudges on this surface, the power cord plug and unit is an after thought (unlike a Mac). Bought our daughter a Mac M1 for college and it is comparable in build quality you could not even compare the two a few years ago. I think the Mac screen resolution is slightly better. The touch screen works flawlessly.
