Bought this expensive HP Envy 2-1 laptop with fingerprint recognition. It only worked one time in the month and has not worked again no matter what it says to do or try. I have tried everything. So I still have to put number code in or return this purchase. I can’t be the only one having this issue. Please respond about this feature. Thank you.

I bought it 2 years ago and start making noise from the fan, I went to the geek squad he sell me some stuff but it's still.

The mouse tends to have a mind of its own and that's been my only issue, but it's consistent and annoying.

another average product from HP. They seem to come out year after year with high expectations and fall very short

I know HP will have heating issue on low end laptops but still I want try with high end laptops issue still persist in high end laptops.

Great Laptop, but I've had several issues with updates. Now the battery is not staying charged very long.

Had to be serviced twice under warranty, although first time I doubt it was actually fixed.

Within 6 months of purchase I am facing overheat issue and heavy sounds from the fan area. Even though I have 1 year warranty, they are not helping to fix the issue. Support team is also the worst that I have ever faced

You could get better one if you add $300 and get spectre .

I purchased this product in November 2019, in less than 6 months, March 2020, this laptop won't power on. Tried all virtual help, none worked. Called Best Buy customer care, they can't help and redirected me to Geek SQUAD which neither helpful. I am so frustrated right now. I can't imagine going through all these stress on a product I purchased at such a high price in less than 6 months.

Pretty good product. A little hard to set up applications

bought this as a open box item started the setup when I got home and the keyboard did not work. The touch screen was woring fine going throght set up But I could not get any geek squad support because of the covid-19. when I got so online help they recommed jut returning the laptop so I did. So I don't think getting an open box item is a good idea from now on not sure how a computer got through checkout with a keybord not working jut bewear of open box items!!

Motherboard crashed for no reason exactly 13 months after purchase - just out of warranty. So annoyed. Before that was a decent laptop but overpriced.

I paid over $1200 for a laptop that lasted less than a year. Both USB ports stopped working and so did the HDMI port.

Email doesn't work AT ALL!!! created a gmail account last year and was at least able to receive mail on this computer but could never send. Had it serviced for such problems, had to go back to KY March of 2020 - (as yet, not listed on my service record.) Returned wiped clean BUT my gmail account now doesn't even exist! Passwords are not handled correctly by this computer, even when it just creates a new one successfully, it says password doesn't exist, and I have to go through the whole process over and over and get no where! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Laptop is fine. I am personally happy with it. It is Best Buy that I have the problem with. I couldn't find a way to purchase it without being forced into an automatically renewable Office360 subscription. It said the subscription could be cancelled at any time, and I cannot find any way to cancel it. WHY CANT YOU LET PEOPLE BUY COMPUTERS WITHOUT ADDING THIS? I DONT NEED IT, AND I DIDNT WANT IT! And now, I HAVE TO BE BOTHERED WITH TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO CANCEL IT BEFORE I GET CHARGED (conveniently) AUTOMATICALLY.

The "S" key does not strike and the mouse pad is also poor to strike. Back it goes. I ordered without viewing in person due to the virus killer of some wonderful human beings and our amazing American economy in case I would have to work from home. Good thing I was fortunate enough to continue working at my office therefore wasn't reliant on this new pricey laptop. I liked it ok except for the key issue but I still need a new one, but I'll wait until stores are open and do more research/ reviews too.

been using it for 5 months and it works fine when its ok but it constantly crashes IT CRASHES ABOUT ONCE A WEEK and then it says the hard drive cannot be found. last time i buy a blackfriday product that was inferior to a regular one. tried calling HP but they never resolve the issue

The Laptop is good but has many drawbacks: 1) Keyboard wears down fast. You cannot read the keys 2) Batter is short lasting without the Power Cord 3) Backspace Button is horrible Geek Squad: Wants to keep your Laptop for 1-month before they will return with repairs. This is the time of "COVID" which means many people are working from home. I cannot do without a Laptop for 1-month. Horrible Geek Squad Service

Brand new and running minimal windows it can barely open a website.
