Love the slim d3sign
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The power does not come on everytime one pushes the power button. I keep thinking it's a setting. Thing is my husband bought me one in October 2019, never a problem. But his, the power on button doesnt always want to work. He had it set on fingerprint to log on and that was so picky it was completely frustrating too.

Worst laptop I have ever owned.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Audio card failed after one month. Battery charge only lasts 2 1/2 hours. Turning on laptop slows down Wi-Fi to dial-up speed. Wi-Fi connection drops off frequently. When the letter “h” is typed after a capital letter, it frequently is also a capital. Explorer automatically boots after logging in on laptop.

HP Disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Intel was my 2nd purchase after accidentally purchasing the AMD Processor. The AMD laptop was returned (screen freezing) and then the Intel was returned - couldn't turn it on the 2nd day after purchase. I am less than impressed with HP products currently (2 back to back computer failures is unacceptable). I followed the return of this product by purchasing a Dell. I am very content with it!

Bad just bad
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return this Laptop like 4 times because they couldn't fix the bleeding at the top. So since HP can't fix their own laptops i'll look for a different brand.

3rd time is NOT a charm...
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm definitely a dummy for buying this computer 3 times but it has crapped out each time in less than 2 years. It just looks amazing and for the price, it has great specs. Beware of the Geek Squad protection plan, it is extremely deceptive! They make you send in the computer and you don't get it fixed for 4-6 weeks.

Perfect computer for everyday needs for realtor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased this computer at Best Buy about a week ago. Ahead of my purchase, I did a lot of heavy research, watching online video reviews, and googling the best laptops for real estate agents. I knew I wanted a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet computer. I'm not a MacBook/Apple person, I tried my husbands classroom Chromebook (not a fan of it's simplicity), and I knew I didn't want a Surface Pro. That basically left the top companies of Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer and Asus. Based on the research, weighing the pros and cons of all the reviews, my decision came down to two computers, the HP Spectre x360, and the HP Envy x360. We chose the Envy (with the iCore processor), only because the Spectre was a little outside of our price range, and even a build-your-own on HP's website with current discounts was still a bit pricey. I also did not want to build-my-own, because the shipping was like a month away, unfortunately, and I wanted a computer right away. Pros (so far) : - KEYBOARD: great keyboard keys, large enough and soft enough to the feel that it really doesn't miss a stroke. Love how it types. It's pretty similar to the MacBook keys, in terms of their softness and capturing touches. - WINDOWS: I was worried about the desktop design of Windows 10 OS. However, it's not a bad setup. I appreciate that they have the Start button in the lower right corner (again). The taskbar configurations are nice, easy to use, and convenient. You can really personalize the home screen, too. - KEYPAD: I wanted this computer for the number keypad, which has turned out to be pretty nice. I know that when computing numbers, it will come in even more handy. - SCREEN SIZE: The large 15.6" diagonal screen has proven to be a perfect size for me. It might be a bit large for some people, but my previous screen was a desktop monitor (like 20"), so I prefer the larger screen. (In all fairness, I imagine a 14" laptop might be the perfect size) - PORTS: variety of external ports (although, this seemed pretty common for most laptops now). 1 Standard SD card slot, 1 headphone, 1 power cord source, 1 HDMI, 2 USB Type A (older style), 1 USB Type C. - WEBCAM: the webcam has a on-off kill switch on the side of the computer, so that when not in use, the user can shut the camera, for safety and a sense of security. I haven't used the camera yet, so no reports on that yet. - SPEAKERS: speakers above keyboard have turned out to be great so far! Bang & Olufsen are top-notch speakers, from what I've reviewed. - FINGERPRINT:: Fingerprint button to sign-in has been the best idea! (a lot of other companies dont even have this option, or if they do, its on the high-end models). - KEYBOARD BACKLIGHTING: You can adjust the brightness on the keyboard backlighting up or down to suit your needs, however, I have not really tested this out in dark situations. It appears to be a good feature. - TOUCH PAD: the touch pad has been great so far. Very sensitive to my strokes. Large enough for my needs. - TABLET MODE: fun mode! best option for when you are sitting not at a table. the stylus pen worked great for me, no issues. - SET-UP: Upon startup, it was easy-peezy setup, synced right with my wireless printer and Wi-Fi. Cons: - KEYBOARD: The NUM LOCK key doesn't have a light on it to tell you if it's on or off. Nowhere on the screen itself does it identify the NUM Lock is on or off, either. I just have to tap it and type until i figure out if its on or off. - COLOR/LIGHTING: Because I wanted the iCore processor (I was unfamiliar with the Ryzen and the salesperson at Best Buy said for my needs, the iCore processor would be just fine. I'm not a gamer, and I don't do any photo-editing), the model that was available for the iCore was the silver colored one. The Dark Ash one is for the Ryzen processor computers. This silver color laptop is fine, but here is my complaint--- the keyboard letters are a dark gray on silver. At Best Buy, the keys seemed to be visible just fine. However, at home, if you have a light shining directly ontop the keyboard from above, you cannot even see the letters on the silver keys. THIS IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT. :( - LID DESIGN: I don't like how there is hardly a lid lip/edge to grab when opening the laptop lid. There is just a lip on the front edge of the computer. One of the video reviews I watched indicated that the lid would need two hands to open, and it does. Maybe with some additional use over time, I will be able to open it with one hand. (I will note that according to review, The Spectre is supposed to be an easier 1-handed lid to open.) Additional Notes to point out: - LETTERS: The letters on the keys (on the physical face of the keys) are all in uppercase, it's unusual. Most keyboards are in lowercase. Not a terrible thing, just took some getting used to when looking down. - KEYBOARD DESIGN/SIZE OF COMPUTER: Had I not needed the number pad, I would have preferred the keyboard to be centered. It's a bit weird having the actual keyboard off-center to the left, but I get that it's part of the design. And had I not been so particular about wanting the number pad, I would have liked a 14" screen option. I think the 13" was probably a bit too small for me. More Notes: *It would make an all around great computer for students. :) Hope this was helpful in narrowing your selection. :)
