Not good ventilation system, it does heat up very fast and it fails after a few months.

slow computer. stops intermittently. thank god it restarted otherwise I was ready to cry

Had to return. One of the keys fell off the keyboard.

Hard working laptop. Fast and kept up with what it needed to do for work at home. Slim, lightweight, easy to work from home and go into the office.

So happy with this computer, i bought it as i was going back to school, it worked perfect for that. I don’t game so i can’t comment on how that would go. Also, i dropped it in the airport our a dent on one of the corners but worked fine without problems

Have been using for the last 4 years now. Pretty fast booting and never had any issues before, but as usual, hp batteries are not long lasting. Without power cord, it doesn't even run. Also, display turns black sometimes. Hp should improve their batteries.

I got the laptop in 2019 for my parents as they needed a low-load, great-functioning laptop. This has been working seamlessly for the last 5 years.

I bought this laptop for $749.99 at Sterling Bestbuy , it was Black Friday on sale. I was looking for a good touch screen laptop, went in to store and tried a bunch of different laptop, this was the one that meet my expectations. It very responsive and fast, everything runs smoothly, touch screen works very well. So I decided to pick this one home and set it up. Everything was easy, everything worked very well. I’m very happy with it .

Overall very good. The unit I got came with a broken ESC key, but I was able to fix the bent bracket and get the key mechanism popped back in. Other than that, the laptop survived 3 years of toddler abuse before the screen finally cracked. The Optane storage is extremely fast; I separated it from the main SSD and installed Linux to it, with the 512G SSD housing /home, and the system boots from POST to login screen in less than 2s. Everything loads as if it's already running. Easily the best HP machine I've seen in at least 20 years.

Great Laptop and I am still using it after 3 years.

This laptop is the first to disappoint me. I barely use it and I'm already experiencing issues with the fan running each time I turn it on. That I paid over $1,000, the fan must be poorly made. Everything else is fine.

I love this laptop, it works good, it's fast, it's a pretty computer, BUT it has a major issue, at least for me: the fan is loud and it seems to be working all the time, even at the moment I write this review, which is the only thing I'm doing right now. Some parts of the laptop are also warm, which I don't understand, since I'm not running any heavy programs. I tried following different troubleshootings, I even updated the BIOS, downloaded HP CoolSense, etc but nothing works. I don't know if this is normal or if my laptop is defective, but I'd like to know if there's a solution or if I can still return it to the store. I purchased it last 11/8.

3 years old now, motor or fan makes loud noises on and off, most disappointed in the keyboard which is very hard to see, with or without the keyboard lights

This laptop "Lap" has given me hard time; I am posting some of what I remember so far (Only after purchasing this, that I read other's reviews on the net, and realized ...Eh Eh!) : 1- The camera had been missing from this lap, unavailable in Device Manager, until I spent tYme attempting modification of registries. Few days later, when unexpected, HopLa! there is Camera! (My updates are usually off by the way!) REGISTRY ISSUES 2- I am a battery saver, using a low battery watch-dog. sometimes, while on low, I TURN OFF the lap to save some charge within the battery, knowing that Zero-Charge is a killer. The following morning, the Lap is completely dead. TURNING OFF ON LOW BATTERY = DEAD BATTERY OVERNIGHT. 3- Sometimes, when I turn Lap off, it reboots instead. TURN OFF = REBOOTS SOMETIMES 4- Closing the lid almost always generates blue screen, when flipping open again. 5- Laptop heats up, even though I am using a piece of hanger behind Lap to lift it up so as to aerate it a bit. 6- Fan turns on quite often, and is Loud.. ...these, what I remember off the bat. And by the way, I noticed, NOW, that many people are experiencing similar issues, and MICROSOFT is UNABLE to come up with any resolutions as of yet... Oh, and windows 10, ...let's not talk about that!!! "Seven" has been the best.

I've had by Envy x360 for just about 2 years. The left screen hinge has failed AND I am far from the first one. In reading complaints HP has had a major hinge issue since at least 2015 and has not redesigned it to fix the issue. The hinges last just past the year warranty and then have issues. HP support wants to blame the user but mine was never dropped or abused. Called a local repair shop and before I even finished with the details he asked "was it the left hinge"? In summary can only say BUYER BEWARE!!

Between classes and work, never gave me a problem (Year 4)

The keyboard has swollen after 1 year because of the battery. The screen quality is fair. You can feel your eye "burning" if you stay longer in front of your laptop.
