The display quality, backlit keyboard and performance of the machine meets my expectations for the cost of the product. I am not waiting on the computer to respond to commands for what I use it for.

Have used this laptop for over a month extensively with Photoshop, ON1 and other photo processing programs. Super fast all the way around. Ended up buying a second one for my daughter for college.

Daughter is pre-med. During orientation they were asked what they would be using. Her advisor said it would last her throughout Med-school. Enough for me! Considering upgrading my 2006 Gateway XF.

I’m very happy with my purchase. The battery lasts a long time. The fan is a bit louder than my old laptop but it’s not distracting and it doesn’t run often. It runs photoshop with no problems.

Bought this for my son to take with him to college. Like the biometric access so it can stay secure in his dorm. The touch screen is nice and the 360 view will be nice for his school needs. Perfect!

For the money I am very happy with this laptop. It is a good combination of performance\portability. I have always had good luck with HP laptops and this one is not disappointing so far.

I teach high school science and I love the extended key board for entering grade as well as the back light on the key board. The touch screen allows me to annotate submitted papers easily.

Purchased this for school and it has been wonderful, very fast. Only problem is that sometimes it powers on in tablet mode when it should be in laptop but this is a very insignificant issue.

I bought this laptop 7/3/2020 after three days I turned it off, the next day after three tries pressing the power button it turned on. I took it back to the store 7/9/2020 and explained what the problem was and that I wanted a NEW laptop, on 7/15/2020 they apparently gave me another one, but it was the same on 7/3/2020 and with the same ignition problem. I need the laptop, I'm going to keep it, despite the problem, well I won't have to turn it off. For the rest, 12 GB of ram and 512 GB SSD, it is fast is what I wanted.

Tends to get warm quicker than any other laptop I've owned. Also periodically makes a noise like a plane coming in for a landing, but on a much quieter scale! The performance is fine.

Great customer service. I received the laptop through curbside pickup. There was a mix-up with the pickup location. After waiting for over an hour at one location it was determined the laptop was actually at the BB down the street. Went to that store, explained what happened and instead of of having to wait again they brought it right out. Computer has been wonderful so far. Quick speed and lots of great features. I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on this one. The screen and display is very vibrant and amazing speakers! I love the fingerprint feature for added security. If you are ok the fence about this one. Don't be. Go for it!

I didn't think I would like using the touch screen, but it came with it. I found that for many functions I touch the screen and I like it. The laaptop boots up and runs fast. Good value.

this is a great laptop. I had hoped to find a little better price, but it was competitive. The speed is fast as you would expect for an I7. Still need an external hard drive as 512 is not much.

Love this laptop! It is fast, user friendly and reliable. I use it everyday for work and never had a problem. Don’t look anywhere else, this is the laptop for you. It was worth the money.

This pc was a perfect choice for my soon-to-be graduate - perfect for his next step in the world. Lightweight, loved the extra number keyboard on the side and the graphics were wonderful!

I've had this for about two months. Overall it's a pretty great computer for home use. I use it for internet, spreadsheets, wordprocessing, printing, home photo management, etc. 99% of the time it's a great computer that does everything I need but unfortunately, it has randomly crashed on me about four times in the two months I've owned it. I also don't like some of the buttons. The "POWER" button is the same color as all the others. You can't find it in low light. I also would have preferred for the camera to have a built-in cap that can be slid over the camera instead of the button on the keyboard that *supposedly* turns it off.

The HP-Envy exceeded all my expectations.Its quiet the battery life is great and the keyboard is a dream!! love the on/off and camera access. Beautiful graphics I would definitely buy again.

Easy to use light weight very portable fast processer.The laptop has a built in camera with a safety on/off button. This lap top very versatile 2 and 1. Just all round easy to use laptop.

Pros: well-built, nice keyboard, decent sound, screen has wide viewing angle, responsive screen and touchpad, fairly lightweight for a 15.6 inch laptop, screen is sharp and bright enough albeit not impressively bright, plenty of RAM, plenty of disk, plenty of CPU to have lots of concurrent office apps/browser/video playback (no experience with gaming) Cons: fans are quite loud and run quite often (considering disabling the Optane memory because of this), camera is not IR so does not support Windows Hello (my daughter's older Envy x360 has IR camera that supports Hello), the brushed surface shows a lot of smudges (would prefer black matte)

the real nature of the current processes in computing generates very heavy systems every day, which need fast configurations, the typical traditional hard drives are no longer useful to speed up the search for information, new backup systems are indispensable, the memory of video are essential so that the machine can run all kinds of software versions and access to the materials, I have made the mistake of thinking this is not so necessary, but I have failed, now my work takes just under 10% of the previous time, in this configuration I am generating better results, I am more efficient and more secure in the result, the space to the error almost does not exist.
