Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the fast performance, touch screen, lightweight design, and reasonable price of the ENVY x360 laptop. They appreciate its speed, clear display, portability, and value for money. However, customers are negative about the fan noise, average battery life, weight, overheating issues, and limited number of USB ports. They mention that the fan can be loud during normal use, the battery life could be better, it is heavier than expected, it can overheat when charging while in use, and it could use more USB ports.

I really love this laptop. It was time for me to ditch my old one and we decided to invest in one with all the bells and whistles and I'm so glad we did. Lightning fast and I can even watch movies on it and flip the keyboard back. My son likes using it too especially with the touch screen.

I don't normally write product reviews, but since we're stuck buying so many things online, I find them very helpful. Originally I owned a Lenovo Yoga 720, I liked it well enough, but I have had very good luck with HP in the past. When it was time for a new computer, I decided to go back to what I knew was reliable. When the computer arrived, I was very pleased with its sleek and compact design. It was a really sharp looking device. I found however, that I was not satisfied with the display quality, the keys were a bit awkward to use, and for some reason the power button is in a really terrible place. It is to the left of the delete key. Normally the power button is more distinctive so that you do not accidentally turn off your computer. It was the screen quality that ultimately made me decide to return the laptop and go back to Lenovo.

If you need a great laptop to handle something as strenuous as video editing and multitasking without breaking the bank, this is the one for you. I got this computer because I needed something to manage the multitasking required for PhD student life, along with the processing power necessary for video and photos editing for some other projects. So far this computer is performing very well. Very quick start up and all apps open and run quickly and smoothly. I love the finger print reader for unlocking. The touch screen and 360 screen also made life easier while I had to sign some contracts (not I guess I'll finally create my digital signature lol). Only downside I've found so far is a loud fan on startup, but after a few minutes it goes back to normal. It may be possible to change the settings to prevent this but it's not much of a bother.

This is a great laptop. It’s fast, runs heavy programs without lag and is light for the size. The notes in other reviews about the fan being a little loud are true. It easily converts to a tablet and the touch screen is great. I only wish the keyboard had a backlight. For $800 it was a great deal.

I haven't had it long so I can't speak on longevity but it's pretty speedy and good quality for price point. The fan gets noisy and overheats with long usage and the keyboard takes some getting used to with the key pad but overall it's a good computer especially for the price.

The finger print thing so helpful when wanting to access the computer fast. Light weight computer so it’s great for everyone seems long lasting

High speed, low drag. Price/performance is awesome. Customer service was top notch also. I tried to order a lower grade laptop from another website and the order was not filled within 3 business days. So I canceled that order and went to Best Buy for a more powerful laptop and will enjoy it every day.

After reading the reviews I purchased this hp laptop, after about a month, I'm not disappointed. It starts up very fast, i guess thanks to the solid state drive. Nice compact design. Hp and Dell still own the better service from numerous reviews i read. However the Hp offered more more than the Dell for the buck. Has the features I wanted, 500gb drive, touch screen, backlite keyboard was an absolute must. Nice flip over tablet 2 in 1 type display. Cons; a 1tb ss drive would have been nice, for all my music, video and photo files. But 1 have a 2tb portable ss drive i stuck much of my lesser used files on. Color cases would be nice, instead of dull black, silver, white. (Colors were available if you ordered from hp, but it was custom, and you had to wait). Pro's; besides what was mentioned above, the lighted keyboard does so in steps, not simply on and off. Fingerprint lock, Latest version of Intel 7 chip-set. 16mb ram. Did I mention it is fast.

Nice laptop. Wish it had more USB ports and cd/dvd drive. Had to get external dvd drive and port. It’s fast. I like the backlighting keyboard. The 360 folding is nice. Touch screen is a nice feature. Wasn’t hard to set up. Has i7. Hope it lasts a long time.

I researched many laptops before coming to the decision of buying this one, but I’m glad I did. It’s fast, consistent, and the features are beautiful (I really enjoy the keyboard). It took a lot for me to switch from Apple to HP but I think I made the right decision!

Its Very premium and great looking laptop Although its great laptop but I gave 4 out of 5 because of below points. 1) Laptop Fan is very noisy and its a big pain after paying this much for this laptop. 2) Dedicated PrintScreen Keyboard Button is missing which is very basic and rather Critical One. 3) Flight mode Keyboard Button is not available which was part till 2019 HP Envy models. 4) Laptop is very edgy and pointy so you can not place it on your bare laps..... it can easily hurt you and your kids too. 5) For me Figure Print Access worked only for 15 days.. now all these basic settings have disable from Laptop Settings... I don't know why? if possible someone can help me on below points from hp

Y’all this is a laptop from the HEAVENS! I had just got my laptop, not even a month prior. I put my laptop, can of monster, and snack into my purse to go from my desk at work to my car. And I must have hit the can against something while inside because in the 45 second walk to the car, the can exploded and literally was drowning my laptop. I panicked and took it out. Dried off what I could but it was a sticky mess! I left it off for a week, left or charging to keep it warm (idek I was reaching lol) and turned it on a week later and THIS LAPTOP WORKED. The screen has an issue the first day with it picking up a touch signal from stickiness behind it, but after I started using it and it warmed up, it stopped registering the spot as rock and had never given me an issue to this day. Y’ALL THIS THING WILL SURVIVE ANYTHING. Best laptop ever!!!!

I've been using this laptop for about a month now and it's been great. I was replacing an old HP laptop (which was powerful for 2014) and this new one is a huge step up. It's fast, sleek, and super light-weight. The display isn't as impressive as a Mac or 4K screen, but it's still a good quality. The laptop itself feels more sturdy than previous HP laptops I have owned that felt like cheap flimsy plastic. I'm personally not a fan of the 360 tablet mode or touch screen as it's more awkward and clunky that a tablet, but on rare occasions it comes in handy. I also miss having an ethernet port but those built-in connections are hard to find these days. I was able to buy it on sale for a few hundred off the price which made the computer a great value. It's a prefect in-between laptop for those who do more than surf the web but don't need a top-of-the-line gaming/video editing laptop.

Because I’m WFH I bought this one to replace a smaller version of the same line. Does not disappoint. Screen is big and clear and machine is fast. Minimal junkware on delivery. B+O speakers great for me. Fan does get noticeably noisy but noise doesn’t last long.

I kind of expected better for the price. The battery doesn't last long and it heats up pretty fast. The fan is kind of loud too. When you make it a tablet by folding over, the keyboard on the other side sometimes gets in the way. I plan on only using the laptop for school purposes, but I'll be running a large program on it so I'm a little worried. I bought it on sale after Black Friday, but I definitely would not buy it if it was full price; there's definitely better options. I'm also used to, and like better, Macs so there's that.

The touchscreen makes navigation easier compared to using a mouse. The graphics are amazing and detailed! I love how it can be used as a tablet! The look of the laptop is chic! The only downside in my opinion is it’s not much of a laptop for outdoor use.

I purchased this laptop 1 month ago and I love all the new features that it has compared to other laptops. While making this decision, I considered HP, Dell, & Lenovo laptops. I usually by Lenovo & they are great laptops but bought my daughter an HP 3 years ago & she loves it. I love the 15.6" screen & the keyboard button to close the camera lens. No more placing postits to block the camera. The placement of the speakers on the top of the keyboard gives better sound quality is another reason I chose HP over the other brands. The cost compared to Lenovo with similar specs was a better value. Being an accountant, it was a must to have the side numeric keyboard. It is lightweight and great to travel with to service my clients. The screen size makes it easy to view my spreadsheets. HP is known for being very durable & reliable. Can't go wrong with this laptop. It's a great buy. I waited until it went on sale at Best Buy.

This laptop checked all the boxes in terms of features. The price was also on point. Shipped to our house in 2 days from Best Buy. We did need to buy a port extender - wanted to use multiple monitors and the laptop was a bit light on USB ports.
