I love this laptop especially the light up keys! It took me a while to figure out which was the key to turn it off and on but I just started pressing the keys in the top row until I hit the correct one. Fingerprint recognition is awesome! So far so good

I bought this laptop for my wife. The built quality is very good, and touchscreen is responsive. A drawback for me is the lack of Ethernet port. I can't use for work, since I have to be on wired connection(for security reasons).

It is an excellent computer for students and professionals; It has all the features that I need to do my job. Also, it has great sound, thoroughly recommended.

The Envy meets most if not all of the requirements of a good solid computer. I purchased this one to replace my Pavilion and am loving the sleek design and the speed. Great price and easy to setup.

For starters i really recommend this laptop, because its well built very solid, with great performance. Didn't have any overheating issues. I think its best for office use, or just for overall everyday use. CPU i7 is plenty of power for this laptop.

For the price you won’t get a better laptop than this, plain and simple. The screen is beautiful and although the fan can get a little loud at times, everything runs smoothly and I have not experienced any slowdowns while running multiple programs at once.

Works great bought it for using on family zoom meetings - great camera and audio. Finding the power button and some of the controls on the keyboard a bit of a challenge - look forward to using it for more complicated work tasks.

Super quick pc. I love the conversion into a tablet and how responsive the screen is. Working on updating the RAM to 32gb as documentation for the PC seems to show it can be done.

Purchased for my Daughter who is a Graphic Design student. Her former PC was equipped with a hard drive. Purchased this one for the high speed solid state drive. Her graphics programs should run much faster and smoother with this PC.

This is a nice laptop. Solid look on the outside. Clean crisp screen. Moves quickly between programs. Love the power button on top row of buttons and not on the side where you can sometimes grab to adjust and then shut your computer off.

I love that this have a small bezel, because it allows for a smaller laptop, but still gives a large screen size. I've had for not too long, but it can be a bit fidgety to direct the mouse sometimes. Overall I'm happy with the purchase!

Overpriced, unimpressive performance for the specs, loud CPU fan, and HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY... Also, battery does not last long at all granted I run it at high performance...

My son love his new computer, we have to buy this computer for home schooling, but I can tell you this computer will last until he finish college too, he is 10th grade now. I have the 7th generation for years and still work excellent.

The battery doesn’t last long, and it does not keep up with the amount of streaming I have to do for work. The touch screen is already messing up. I just bought this last month!

This laptop is light weight and has a large screen. The graphics are great. The camera is not that great which is a bummer because of all of the zoom meetings that we have to do now a days. Other than that the battery life is wonderful as well.

Like the laptop but had many problems with software and the setup. Microsoft & Google both had update problems the week I set the laptop up so I think they were definitely software problems not the hardware. Working fine now.

I am really enjoying the wide screen and the quick response time with this computer. This is an excellent set up for doing my work on, and having a large screen gives me the ability to work with multiple windows. So far so good.

I purchased this computer on the recommendation of two separate Best Buy employees. I love it, except that I have had consistent problems with the audio. I first purchased it at a Best Buy store while visiting my family in a different state. Shortly after, I began noticing that it made a weird static noise intermittently when I played music/audio and typed at the same time. I uninstalled/reinstalled Spotify, used Youtube or iTunes instead and it was a consistent issue. Four trips to Best Buy and 3 geek squad members later, it was determined that I should just exchange it. When I had returned back to my home state, I exchanged it. I picked the new one up last week (same model) and it immediately started doing the exact same thing. That makes two different computers purchased in two different states two weeks apart that have the exact same audio issue. I have spent hours communicating with HP and Best Buy to figure out what's going on, and they both think it's a hardware issue. Awesome computer, but BEWARE of this audio issue. It's so darn frustrating.

I bought this laptop to replace a 7-year-old HP laptop. I love the solid-state drive - it's fast! It's easy to transfer files from the old unit to this one as well. Great color, easy touch keyboard. I only wish it had more USB ports!

I was looking for a powerful laptop at the $1k price range when coming across this unit. The first laptop I purchased had a speaker crackling sound that would come and go. I did some research and found that this is a common customer complaint. Really disappointing considering that the speaker system is a premium feature. I exchanged the unit and haven’t had any further issues with the speaker system however now I’ve been noticing that my mic cuts out during zoom calls. I have to assume this is also a hardware issue because I don’t experience the same problem when using a tablet or mobile device connected to the same network.
