    Awesome for Gaming!

I’m a Student/Gamer so I was looking for a laptop that would do everything I needed it to do. Really fast running, and gameplay is extremely smooth. For those that care, it runs Minecraft extremely well, and handles Skyrim like a desktop (impressive!). One complaint is that it gets really hot when I'm playing Skyrim, which is understandable, I’m happy that it allows me to play the game at all, but I usually play it safe and quit the game after about an hour of playtime so it doesn’t over heat. Might invest in a cooling pad for it, but it doesn’t get hot doing normal tasks :) I really love the light up key board and the touch ID, it improves my experience using the computer a great amount. There’s nothing this computer can’t do, it handles multitasking like a pro and games like a regular gaming computer. Love it!

Purchased two of these laptops (one for the wife). Hers came in with a faulty touch pad. Kudos to the Pensacola Best Buy team for a hassle-free return. Starts up very quickly and is a powerhouse computer. Excellent graphics, great audio quality. I did have some break-up in my Bluetooth earbuds. That could be the buds, not sure. I read several reviews about the noisy fan on this model. Once the initial set-up was complete, this laptop became the quietest I have ever owned. When I'm not actively using it, I can't tell if it's on. When I am, it is still very minimal. Overall, very happy with my purchase! I'm looking forward to making it do some real work soon. Time to edit some video.

The hp envy x360 is a solid laptop that can handle most tasks very well. Super fast and responsive. Note that this computer was not built for gaming. It can handle most games but when playing something like fortnite it is extremely slow. When performing demanding tasks the computer can get very hot. When it gets hot and it's on any form of plastic, when you pick up the laptop the rubber strips on the bottom will peel off. And they don't go back on properly. I've had to glue mine back on. Apart from that I have had no issues with it. It can handle photo and video editing and is good for multitasking. I would reccomend it to most people.

I was so very glad to find that HP still had some Envy laptops in their product line. In my opinion, for what it is worth, the HP ENVY 360 2 in 1 laptop is the best available for the price. It is versatile with the 360-degree screen options. I love the keypad placement on the side since I work with a lot of numbers. This model has fingerprint security as well as using a pin. My only complaint is that there isn't an easy way to disable the touchpad. I prefer using a mouse because I think I'm not quite coordinated enough to effectively use the touchpad.

Good computer but not for me

I bought this computer with high hopes based on the features, including the new Intel processor and the RAM. I noticed the first reviews saying the fan was noisy, and did notice it running when I turned it on and started doing updates. However, the biggest thing that made me return this computer was the screen brightness and clarity. The top brightness is listed at 250 nits, and in order to see it reasonably well it had to be at the top, which killed at battery at 5 hours with just basic web surfing and streaming. The color also seemed off, with blues lighter than they should be and red appearing orange. This is likely a good computer for some I didn't like it and returned it after a day.

The laptop loads quickly, has a good feel to it, and the resolution on the screen is very good. I practically live on my laptop, so ease of use is essential for me. It's lightweight, streamlined, and the light silver color has a professional appearance and is cooling to my eyes. (Black is so done.) The HP-ENVY is similar to my prior laptop, so it was very simple for me to turn it on and go. It also has all the features I need with a couple of minor adaptations; for example, it lacks a CD/DVD drive so I bought an external one. Its tablet mode is also a nice feature when you want compact portability. Moreover, the price was competitive with all the bells and whistles, and I paid about the same for it that I paid for my previous comparable device several years ago. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my HP-ENVY.

Bought this laptop for school which requires several online courses and meetings. Have had it for about one month and so far have been very happy. Runs fast and smoothly for the price. Read about a loud fan, but it really isn’t very loud.

I've had this laptop for about a month now and the battery life is great, clear picture, great keyboard, and no loud fan noise. The cons: don't like the mouse pad feel and heavier than expected. Besides that great price for a great value.

I had a lot of help picking out a laptop. I haven't had one in about 15 years, and was pretty picky. This checked all the boxes and I'm very impressed with it. Highly recommend. I was also happy with the easy setup. It was like setting up my smartphone.

The overall performance is wonderful but the fan runs ALOT! It also makes annoying whistle constantly. I have a client that has the same laptop. Hers makes the same whistle sound although she saw it sounds more like a whine to her.

Even if I paid regular price it would’ve been worth it. This thing is a powerhouse and I’ll probably never exploit its true potential. Getting it on sale at $200 off was just a bonus. I would definitely recommend this computer to anyone.

I am no geek, nor computer specialist. I have known personal computer since it was called Micro Computer and have used a lot of PC for years. My work laptop is the one my company bought for me and it is for business and works great. Yet at home, I don't need the state of art computer. All I need is the basic spec and fast enough to loam around the web, quick to open apps and smooth execution. The last one I had was DELL and after 6 months of use, everything slowed down. It was 6gb memory so no wonder. I found this and bought it right away because this has 12gb and price was super affordable. I have had this for about a month and I have no issues. I had to wait for my old one to even start up with nothing open. I am sure this will be the slow one in a couple of years but so far I am happy with this PC.

Super impressed with the computer. Touch screen is great, takes a minute to get use to if you accidentally bump it while pointing something out. Fast with everything it does, runs our carving software for our CNC without a problem.

Overall for the price and functionality it's a good laptop. The sound is very good from speakers, Display has good resolution and color depth for a 2k. The iris graphics on board is stout enough to dual display two hdmi 2k monitors. Fingerprint reader is fast, coolest feature is the webcam lockout feature! It covers cam iris with shutter. Also has mic kill switch! Time will tell on how finish holds up but aluminum chassis is beautiful. Wouldn't stay powered up unless on adapter at first, driver issue resolved by uninstalling acpi and adapter driver under "battery" in DeviceManagement. Everything working good!! :)

Seems like great computer 15.6 is nice screen but on the big n heavy side. Always place hands too far right on keyboard typing gibberish... very annoying... just tough to get used to placement. FAN IS LOUD... NOT CONSTANT BUT SPORADIC.... 1st time I heard I was like what the heck? As I just turned it on and walked away as I left it idle a few minutes. It sounded like a jet taking off in the distance. May prefer a more condensed model if looking for a light weight "laptop." I dont feel this is really one for moving around like from sitting in comfy chair to sitting in bed, room to room, etc... more like one to keep on a desk and portable when need be. Too similar to what I lugged around 17/18 yrs ago as an office laptop.

I was looking for a laptop more on the higher end of the quality side and came upon this laptop. I really like the laptop's 2 in 1 convertibility and the laptop serves great as just a tablet as well. I love the display of the laptop as well as the touchscreen features. The fingerprint sensor makes it quick and easy to log in. The computer itself has great specs and runs at great speeds, definitely enough to keep up with streaming music or videos, browsing the internet, and multitasking with work. The only complaints that I have about the laptop is sometimes the fan can be a bit loud, but it is not much of an issue. But also, during the first week of having the computer, sometimes the screen would be stuck flickering on a black screen.

SSD makes the ENVY x360 respond quickly

The HP ENVY x360 was easy and quick to set up. The SSD I/O speed made Windows updates much faster than I have seen on other PCs and laptops without SSD and I would be sure to have SSD on any new machine now that I have seen the performance boost. Boot up with the fingerprint ID is very quick and convenient and the battery has shown very good run time for my use. I am still getting used to using the touch screen, I still tend to point at things I do not intend to select, but it seems to perform quite well. The display is clear and crisp but I do want to try connecting to a larger monitor to display larger portions of documents and spreadsheets. Video streaming has performed well but I have not yet tried casting to a larger display.
