I bought this in the afternoon and as soon as I got home and started setting it up, it got loud. I thought it was the AC unit next door but no, it was the fan on the laptop. It did eventually stop but it picked up again soon thereafter. After some quick google searches, it seems to be a common problem. The fan is loud. HP knows about it but not much has been done to quiet it. Sadly, I must and will return this. Everything else was great. But, if I have to sit in front of a a computer for the next 6 months, I do not want to sound like I am taking off in a jet.

I bought this computer to help me deal with switching to college from home and it made my last quarter of college run much smoother!

The laptop has all the bells and whistles needed for home use. The biggest issue is the back lit buttons are hard to see in dayllight conditions.

Needed to upgrade. My old laptop was probably 15 yrs old. Initial set up was pretty good considering my lack of computer knowledge.

Its a great computer its really big the way i like it ... I do think its a bit over priced for what you get but its still a great computer.

Turn it on and it's ready in a few seconds. I only had it for a few weeks now I don't used it everyday, but when I turn on it's ready to go.

This laptop is just what I needed. It’s thin, light, and has a long monitor. Perfect for what I use it for. I would recommend it to anyone.

Bought this for my parents 65th wedding anniversary and so far these 85-86 yr olds are able to navigate well. Alexa feature most helpful

2-in-1. Works as a tablet or laptop. Fairly powerful :-) Priced ok compared to other computers, but I think most computers are overpriced.

Good laptop only thing is it would be nicer if it had a cd slot. I use this for school and personal use gets the job done.

--the port on the right hand side: when you plug a usb into it, it is very tight. In other words, hard to put into the port and even more impossible to take it out. feels like the usb or the port may get damaged --Unclear why the left side port has a seasaw hinge where you need to push it down before the usb can go into that port. have never seen anything like that before and it is quite hard to put usbs in and out of it

It has many options, not that difficult to manage. I know for fact that once I know how to manage other features it will be fantastic.

Seems to be working great. Only drawback is that I didn't realize it had a number keyboard on the right-hand side, which I don't use.

Really like this new laptop. The feature that it can be used as a tablet has been very helpful. Hardly ever has my “tablet” now.
